    All-Madden(default)/Patch-3/Realism

    The Thread Title shoud be renamed "Flipped All-Madden". I went from default All-Madden testing(25/50), to 50/75 for User/CPU sliders. I just love seeing the CPU A.I. play closer to ratings, and Hot/Cold streaks still matter.
    My philosophy is, the higher the CPU Sliders, the better the CPU A.I. performs in that specific category. Now in M12 I had CPU at all 100s and it worked out very good.
    M13 doesn't seem to be as easy, so I don't have all CPU sliders @ 100(yet).
    I'm sure you guys will enjoy how well the CPU does w/ these and ratings are being honored even more!!

    So this should be the latest Slider setup
    In CCM offline
    Go to: more//My League//League Settings and League Sliders(note: injuries will NOT reset if you go into these settings after starting your CCM post patch-4)

    League Settings

    Salary Cap: Off(CPU should not have a different offseason logic and this avoid the Salary Cap Glitch)
    Skill Level: All-Madden(default)
    QTR Length:15min
    Acc. Clock: On
    Min. Play Clock: 12(should give you apx 60-65 offensive plays per gm and games seem to go fast b/c the clock is winding down faster)

    Min Speed Threshold: 75
    Player progression: Your preference

    Flipped AM-(meaning; instead of the 25/50 default All-Madden setup, I'm going with 50/75 as a base for my testing).

    I'm lookin for the most balanced threshold, meaning LBs can pursue and tackle. Pursuit means alot to LBs and just good team defense.

      1. Why not adjust your sliders from All-Madden default?
      2. Why not when 3 different areas were patched,
      Connected Careers:
      Gameplay Tuning:


      1. Fixed an issue where WRs were dropping too many passes when playing on All Madden difficulty setting.
      2. Fixed an issue where Offline Gameplay AI/Logic did not match the logic in Play Now.
      3. Fixed an issue where playing the game on All-Madden is too easy.

      So I will be testing these sliders from All-Madden default.

          I just played a default All-Madden game and found this looking for a default All-Madden thread. I just played a game with 2 changes. 1) Speed Threashold at 100. (I know this isn't popular but I love it this year.) 2) Fatigue at 60. The game played almost perfect.

          15 Min quarters with play clock at 12.

          I took the Browns against the Rams and won in overtime 30-24.

          Stats were dead on.

          - Both teams were around 350 yards of offense and 400-500 yards of total offense.

          - Each team only had 1 turnover.

          - Steven Jackson ran for about 125 against me for not quite 5 ypc.

          - I ran for about 4 ypc with Richardson.

          This was probably one of the most enjoyable games of Madden that I have played against the computer in my 20 years of playing the game.

            Actually your not alone bro!! I used the 100 threshold setting last Madden and it really made the game play tighter imo.

            Now with the improvements to All-Madden in Patch 3. I'm stoked!!!!

              testing continued...I'm still using 50 threshold for now. All-Madden has really been tighted up so I don't feel a need that the players should be closer together speed wise.
              I know threshold is really a "preference" but that "preference" can really make or break the game imo..

              So I will be starting my offline CCM w/ pg 1 updates..Currently in practice mode and some of these practice squad players are HOFers! So I would expect a little more from these type of players during practices. They are standing out much more now after patch 3 and you can tell who is a higher end player on the field now. Before patch 3, these players didn't seem to be as challenging.

              ie. before I could throw comebacks all day(All-Madden default)! Now the Dbs play it much better and seem to be playing the ball much better. They've jumped the comeback much more now and have me thinking twice if they are near the WR coming back toward the ball.

              Another thing, I like to use practice in CCM, quit right before it ends, and then I can continue practicing some more. Especially since patch 3 has really improved the difficulty on the All-Madden level.

                  After using different slider sets since I bought the game I think I'm just going to roll default All-madden 100 threshold. The only thing I may consider changing is the CPU int but I may even leave that.

                  Everything else seems to change the gameplay too much and lessen the impact of player rankings.

                    Since finding that we can help the CPU play call logic by picking different playbooks for the CPU before playing them, I'm going w/ All-Madden default. It seems to be much improved from patch 3.

                      So, this is only for offline CCMs right? No way of changing CPU's playbook online is there?

                          hi, i'm a fairly good offline player and thought that starting with All-Pro would lead to more "fair" results -- so super CPU players.

                          i was able to get the CPU run game going good with 0 Human Run Reaction and 100 CPU run block, but i couldn't get a good CPU pass game, even with elite QBs on the field. i tried 100 CPU Pass ACC and 60 Pass BLK and 25 HUMAN Pass reaction but no luck.

                          i tried upping Pass BLK to 100 in practice and that helped but still too easy.

                          i tried All-Madden for the first time this year (used it years ago and didn't like the drops, etc.) and in practice it feels pretty challenging.

                          my rookie QB makes too many bad throws (ACC in the low to mid 70s for all) but perhaps that's realistic.

                          what was great was the CPU pass game really worked.

                          again, this was just testing in practice but if that is indicative of CCM play, All Madden feels pretty good with default sliders.

                          one question: i made my own back with 99 Break Tackle because i love to truck the odd DB once in a while. with All-Madden on default, i didn't truck a single defensive back.i was just exploring the Human run game for a few minutes though.

                          will i still be able to truck a few guys (not expecting it every play) in All-Madden? just a personal thing, i love to see it a couple times a game and i feel a 240 lb back should be able to run over a 190-LB DB here and there.

                            Oh yeah you should get some, I get a few now w/ Alfred Morris, but not too often. Depends on the situation, I was surprised at how some of the practice squad players did, and then I looked at the practice squad ratings in the depth chart, WOW! I think they have a stronger team than me, and especially at CB and Qb. They have a 90 ovr Rb too. So they are tuff!

                            One thing I am going to adjust is my QB acc b/c with it being 25(All-Madden default), I'm throwing some crazy inaccurate passes w/ RG3. I mean I will be throwing a deep out and the ball will go almost right in the middle of the field OMG!

                            So whats cool is when I went and upped the User QB acc to 50, its still showed as being All-Madden in the league settings page and I'm not throwing right to the defenders anymore!

                              thanks for the feedback. the litmus test for me regarding QB accuracy is this: if i take a top-flight QB (say Roders or Brees) then i believe in the game he should hit his targets on short and medium stuff almost always and connect in catchable vicinity mostly for deep passes.

                              i can see a rookie (like my guy: i took a real player and edited his stats so he's my "first round pick" 97 arm strength but accuracy in between about 72 - 74) throwing some bad throws.

                              but once a guy is an all-pro veteran, he shouldn't miss that many throw.

                              good to know about broken tackles. will try to play a full game tonight and see if i have any insight/feedback.
