My career mode 11 min quarters options presentation play vision set to all plays play vision display set to full..

Here is how I got it to work for me normally if you are coming off the bench you quickly press the Y button to simulate until your play time kicks in , instead of mashing the Y button I watched the action on the court from the bench. Allstar simulation normally the CPU teammates play like idiots ,but when you watch from the sideline they actually play smart basketball ... Anyways upon being subbed in on offense the play vision works for some reason I don't know if this is an isolated incident or not but for now it's working

Play Vision also works on out of bounds plays in My Career Mode

I know it works. The problem is that the game doesn't use it unless it's an out of bounds. This play vision issue is a MAJOR problem imo. It shouldn't have even been an issue in the first place. Or at least I wasn't expecting it to be since it worked fine in 2K12 even if you simulated to your substitution. Thanks for the tip though. I'll see if waiting it out on the bench works.

The thing is, after researching a bit: playvision works, it's the "run plays" option in the gameplay settings that doesn't work. Playvision works when you as a pg chooses the plays but your cpu teammates won't run any plays for your team.

Yeh I have seen play vision come up about once a game when the coach calls an on the fly iso or pick and roll, but the problem is that the PG on your team or coach never calls plays like they should.

I think people have been confusing playvision with "your team runs plays." Of course it doesn't help that playvision defaults to off every game, so saying "playvision is broken" isn't entirely incorrect.

It started working during a game between the Knicks (me playing pg) and the Spurs, but then stopped the next quarter. I don't remember seeing the names of plays being called but the playvision lines were there.

Next game I played it was back to only appearing on inbound plays. I need this to work even when playing as a pg because I usually get to aggressive at the start of games and try and do to much causing turnovers and bad shot selection penalties. The coach calling plays gives me something to focus on and just run the offence and pick my spots instead of becoming a ball hogging/iso/pick and roll running scrub. lol

It does work (I'm on PS3), but it's crazy to have to wait and watch to get the play art to come up. Along with other stuff, this needs fixed...it ruins what would otherwise be a great mode.
