I'ma also getting flak jackets on a lot of people.

Tried making D Ware arms bigger...They don't save but in edit screen he is fine lol Also custom rosters will give guys random Flak Jackets and Back Plates smh

Anyone else noticing this? The players that I notice that have them are non-quarterbacks. I don't know the full extent, but i did notice that both teams in my season opener against the Saints had the majority of the players with flak jackets. And we're talking o-line and d-line players, not just qbs and skill position players.

So I went in to start just changing my team (time-consuming and incredibly frustrating, as I only had a limited time to sit down and play), and then I ran into the skinny arm bug. That's when I shut down my system in disgust.

EA is about to make me quit gaming. This is just so ridiculous. The time you have to commit, and the hoops (and countless number of menus) you have to jump through just to set up the game, before you start a franchise.... I'm an older gamer and I have limited time as it is to get on and play a few, and EA just makes it so hard.

It's a shame. I truly believe the NBA Live wouldn't be the only EA franchise "on the ropes" if it weren't for the exclusivity deal with the NFL.

It's not just the latest patch, it's just a cumulative effect of the frustrations with the game and worst of all, not having a choice to play an alternative that is really the worst part.

Game is better the one thing I do like is that the physics are more like the demo. No more pinball garbage like after the second patch. Could not stand all of the (this game is tightened up talk) Game plays better but is not at the lvl of fifa or 2k. Little things hold the game back.

Late game ai has been pretty good for me and pass heavy teams are playing well. Hope this game keeps my interest for a few months. With fifa and 2k don't know if it will. Sucks it took so long for the patch. Overall think they did a good job with it though and feel madden is on the road to recovery.

I agree the game plays better but is still not on the level of NBA 2k. Madden is missing player individualism (all the players do the same cut-scene celebrations, it just looks weird to see Eli Manning running down the field pumping his fist in the air after a TD pass) and we still see too many of the same animations. Line play, foot-planting, running styles, and more catch animations need to be addressed. But I am happy to see that they are really pumping effort into Madden now, gives me high hopes for Madden 14.

It's scary bud... I do not want EA to remain the only developer out there that can make these games. My eyes are on this new exclusivity suit taking place. Man, I hope it kills the deal with the NFL

Somehow, the NFL, needs to get wind of the consumer's displeasure with having just a single developer create games for the League. Don't know how that can happen with enough impact, to go up against the money they are making regardless.

Just curious, but, is this (exclusivity) a Roger Goodell initiative? I been indifferent to him as commissioner in general, but aware of a lot of the criticism he's taken from fans and players. Adding this exclusivity deal to all of the other stuff has me seeing him in a more negative light along with all of the other stuff he's been involved with, running the league.

Hmmm one thing i noticed is that my players are not running through the walls in the back of the endzones anymore. After a long score i see them actually stopping before getting to the wall.

Am i seeing things or did EA do something about this?

Am i seeing things or did EA do something about this?

Maybe this was the "td celebrations not triggering" portion of the fix.

Is this editing from within an already started CCM? Or is this after you import a custom roster and start a new CCM?

loving the game now, real complaints left are just flat out dumb cpu A.I at times(down 5 with 10 seconds left on my 20, calling a run play with no timeouts smh) and some stat issues where WR's somehow have 300 ypg averages when they really dont, and its giving a WR an award when he really had a lesser season because of the YPG that he really doesnt have. lots of stat issues. also the editing causing players to turn skinny is annoying

I hope people know this: IF YOU HAVE AN OLD FRANCHISE, set your skill difficulty down or up a level, go out of it. then back in, and change it back, otherwise your sliders will still be screwed up in your old franchise.

Is this editing from within an already started CCM? Or is this after you import a custom roster and start a new CCM?

Both. I edited like three players prior to re-starting a ccm, then noticed the flanked up players during the first game. Quit, then went to fix the flak jacket issue, then the arms started to shrink.

This is on a PS3, by the way.

Can other people confirm this because, if true, kudos to Emmdotfrisk and the devs for paying attention to this "little thing". Many people, including myself, have been pointing out this oversight for some time, so it's good to see it addressed, if it has been.

They still go in the walls a bit, just not all the way through like before from what I've noticed in about 7 games or so.

Not really positive though, I'm about to play a game. I'll pay more attention to it this time.

started ccm offline after the patch and it seems as almost all skill position player seem to be wearing a flack jacket instead of the back plate. and everyone and their mom seems to be a team captain. anyone else having issues with that

I think it's all part of making the players happy, so everyone gets that Captain status--another EA exclusive.

Probably not a "patch" impression, but the game "looks" a LOT better when you play on slow as opposed to fast and my game didn't go any faster on very fast maybe 5 minutes shorter :\ Deff not worth it with how much better the game looks on slow.
