    Named rosters for 2004 version

For the PS3, I'm looking for the 2003 rosters for the 2004 version of the game, but I will take the current roster names if it's unavailable.

Do you mean 2003 rosters for NCAA 2004 for the PS2 (not PS3)?

as you can see there are no saves for this game on gamefaq. there are for ncaa 2004 on GC though. i'm sure when ncaa 2005 came out there were gamecube rosters, but at that time i was playing the PS2 version.

does anyone have a gamecube roster for ncaa 2005 they saved from back in the day?

Wow -- sorry can't help you.

I didn't know anyone still played the Gamecube, although I know some people liked it for sports games.

Sorry, only PS3. My slim PS2's door won't shut all the way. I have another PS2 that works however it only plays region 2 games.

So do you mean a backwards compatible PS3 because NCAA 2004 was only made for the PS2 (PS3 didn't exist).

I'm pretty sure my PS3 is backwards compatible, because I never had any problems in the past playing PS2 games.

Okay -- I have the NCAA 2004 roster file but it is in the format which can be put on a PS2 memory card. I can't transfer it to you as I would an ordinary PS3 file.

Hey -- I think I may be able to send it to you after all.

I tried to attach the file -- let's see if this works.

You'll need to transfer that file to an internal memory card on your PS3.

Thank you, trying it out now...it worked! Thank you so much for your help!!

So, all I needed was the PSV format after all. You know, I was going to suggest that, but I wasn't so sure if it was going to work. lol

I've actually done this type of method before with another game, but I wasn't so sure if it would work with other PS2 titles.

What I didn't realize initially was that when I transferred the PS2 max file to the PS3, it converted to a PSV file -- which I could then export to a USB drive. If you need any other files let me know.
