Lack of ability to mix certain accessories + OCD = no bueno

It sucks not being able to replicate accessories that people like Derrick Rose, Kyrie Irving etc wear. In 2k12 you could I'm pretty sure, but in 2k13 you can't mix knee pads (regular pads, not hex pads) with calf sleeves (not full calf sleeves, half or mid calf sleeves)



To do that on 2k I would need black knee pads on both legs, and then white padded mid calf sleeves (which 2k also did not put in, there is padded half calf sleeves though)

I know i'm being silly over something that isn't really important. :/

I actually think this is a glitch because in this picture:


Derrick rose has knee and leg sleeves on prerelease. But now it doesn't work. If you click on edit player for D Rose then it'll show he has on the leg sleeves in the accessory selection, but they don't appear. 2k really botched

You're definitely not silly for posting about this (even if in a few minutes there will come a post saying: "Who cares about accessories?! Gameplay is what 2K should focus on!").

I don't know why, but 2K seems to mess things up when it comes to accessories every year. Hopefully, this can be fixed.

You're not being silly. For me the biggest accessory botch is the Heat wearing white socks with their road unis. That irks the sh*t out of me. Especially since they did the same thing last year and then fixed it in one of the updates. How they managed to do it again is beyond me.

I was frustrated about the same thing!! i like d-rose's accessories and i rocked em on my MyPlayer in 2k12, i ended up wasting a bunch of VC just to try and mix and match with no avail.

Speaking of accessories where are the Glasses???????

every single leg sleeve should have visible socks, except the regular calf sleeve since they already included the half calf sleeve.

The only one that really annoys me, is that in My Carrer your My Players socks dont change color always stay white. Not that big of a deal but come on 2K thats pretty simple...

I don't understand why we can't have accessories overlap each other. Or even have the option to have any sleeves or pads change like socks do. While not a huge deal, I'd still would like to be able to have my knee pads match my home or away jerseys without switching every game. It wasn't much of a deal last year when I could turn auto-save off.

This has always irked me too, why can't they update the accessories and for you to also choose the colous for the jerseys. Youll find that if you wear alternate uniform it most likely selects T1.

Things like Blazers wearing red headbands at home...and a lot of heads they keep from previous years and it makes the game look outdated. Gasol for one looks terrible, and Amare looking really outdated especially with the goggles.

From the OP, it irks me you can't do that with Irving, Rose, Durant amongst many also.
