So I'm guessing you didn't read Simballers post on future court updates on this thread... And don't say you couldn't find it cause you could've used the search option... PP was most likely saying, "Did you even bother reading the thread before answering?" cause I've seen people ask things when their answer was already said...

Uhhhh. incorrect. I suggest you watch the Lakers Vs. Kings game from the 22nd I believe? and then look at Staples Center in 2k13. Way different. If you don't think so, you need to check your eyes.Comment

Hopefully, we would get further updates on the Lakers court. Before someone jumped on me, I'd like to say that I also like the other courts to be correctly updated too. We all want that, right?Comment

its not a SUPER HUGE deal, but the court is a tad dark and looks very weird when you play. I'd like them to fix it as well as the center line, but if they don't I will live, and still play the game. There are bigger problems this year, like not being able to change home and away shoe color!!!Comment

Re: 2k Sports Updates: Court Floor Updates
I was saying that because the amount of complaining will not change... they make the colors on the court the right color and then people complain about beards and hairstyles on the players and spacing in-between numbers on the jerseys and things that do not effect how the game plays whatsoever... a few years ago after a game was released that was it, you had a problem with the game too bad that's how it is until next time. now with all the patches and updates people expect these multi-million dollar companies to cater to their every need.
Gaming has & is still changing. Patches. DLC. Updates & Community Interaction is what its about now.
Look at what 2k has done this year to bring in random OS Users & Youtubers. All games release updates because all games have certain flaws. The companies made it this way by releasing flawed video games and having to patch them. Nobody made them patch the games. It was their choice because they wanted to keep the customer "happy". Thats how business works...
I understand where you're coming from...
But any business owner knows the business is nothing without the customer. Which is why 2k has moved in the direction it has.
But the complaining is more about "I spend my $ on it I want it right" than it is "I asked for it so I want it" The people complaining are making these companies million dollar companies and they have legitimate complaints for a game that comes out EVERY YEAR.
For the same very small art details to ALWAYS be wrong that ppl on these forums always compain about is something ppl should & need to question to 1)help to make a better product & 2)feel like they're getting their moneys worth. Especially since 2k devs visit this one. Its like they only see what they want.
Its not a big deal to me personally because I prefer the PC version but I certainly understand their concern. A full court update takes more than a line color or a jersey collar update.Comment

Team is aware of the court (Lakers) and are working on other courts etc.Comment

Tell the team that the Lakers court is fine so we can have another full thread on how the center court line is wrong. Plus I enjoy watching someone just get so buttfrustrated over a line...

This guy's right. They updated these three today. It didn't show a notification, but as the game loads the message "Updating New Content" flashes where it usually says "Loading User Profile", etc.NBA: Boston Celtics
MLB: Texas Rangers
NFL: Tennessee Titans
NCAA: Texas Tech Red Raiders&Ohio State BuckeyesComment

I did get a notification because I hadn't yet got the first 3 courts. But yeah, the other 3 are definitely now updated (despite the Clippers changes being minimal).Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Updates Court Floors For the Lakers, Suns and Thunder
I have another very minor complaint about Lakers Staples Center. It doesn't really bother me, but I figured I saw something wrong so why not list it here?
the "LAKERS" logo that's under the basket on each side of the court (out of bounds) is blurry/pixelated, and the area with the lakers logo, the yellow paint is darker than the rest of the paint.
Like I said, doesn't really bother me, but figured I'd let people know just in case they go back to the Lakers court to fix the other stuff (halfcourt line, color of wood etc)
don't hate me for listing something so miniscule
EDIT: Also, the Yellow and Purple paint is just way too damn dark. How do you expect me to play this game when the paint is too damn dark!?!?
:P

People complain about Laker fans whining about every little detail, but as a fan is it wrong that we want our teams details to be good? If this was your team whose court was completely wrong, I'm sure you'd be requesting it be fixed too.Last edited by BayStyles925; 10-24-2012, 06:41 PM.Comment
