Need help deciding between Madden 13 or NCAA 13( both for the Ps3)

To the moderators, please move this if I'm posting in the wrong forum (I'm debating between madden 13 and NCAA 13).

Heres the situation:
I'm debating between Madden 13 for the ps3 and NCAA 13 for the ps3 to get for my birthday but I can only get one. I am a mix between a sim and casual gamer, I play most every day but not every day and I love both NCAA and NFL. Now on to the considerations in my debate between the 2 games.
1) I won't be able to get any patches because I don't (due to my limited data plan) play online, which is better to play without any patches?
2) I was a big fan of franchise mode and editing player ratings and being able to use them in franchise mode is important to me. I'm willing to give CCM a shot knowing what it is going in. Is offline CCM any good for someone who loved franchise mode?
3) I've heard that there are so many bugs and glitches in NCAA 13 that it makes me not want to get that game, but then again, you can edit the players in NCAA 13 unlike madden 13 if you can't get any patches.
4) I'm a bigger nfl fan than college football fan but I love Clemson more than I like any nfl team.
5) Does Madden 13 or NCAA 13 without any patches have the worst bugs/glitches?
6)For those that own both games , which do you like better and why?

Unfortunately, there is not much good to say about either game. Out of the two, taking into consideration your criteria, and how I feel about overall re-play value between the two; I can tell you NCAA is better in my opinion. Yes, Madden has self-acclaimed physics, but dependent on the user, they don't necessarily make the game better. Franchise mode is what killed the game for me this year. They took a great deal out.

Get madden dude. Ncaa is garbage in my opinion. Last patch did some good things to madden unless your really into editing. Neither game is perfect but I would go with madden the tackling physics are awesome for the most part.

I've only played Madden 13. I plan on getting NCAA at some point but without being able to grab the patches, I am not sure I would consider Madden. I only recently began playing madden again because they patched in coach mode. Honestly, my suggestion is to grab NBA 2k13 :wink:

ncaa. too many bugs still in madden post patch 3. however i didnt get ncaa until the patches had arrived so frankly go get hc09

I have both games and I play NCAA 13 a lot more than Madden 13. Both are fun games, but I find the overall gameplay in NCAA 13 just a little sharper than Madden 13.
