Madden NFL 13 Roster Update Details - Week 9 For Play Now, Arrives Tomorrow

The Madden NFL 13 roster update for week 9 will be available tomorrow morning for 360 and PS3 users. These rosters are for Play Now (Online/Offline).

There are well over 450+ transactions and player rating adjustments that went into this roster update. We also targeted some player equipment updates this week - with over 50 players and 200+ equipment parts updated total.

The biggest movers after top notch performances in Week 8 are Tampa Bay RB Doug Martin with a 3 point boost this week (now 83 overall), Tennessee DE Derrick Morgan goes up 3 points to a 76 overall, San Francisco OL Anthony Davis going +2 to 82 overall, Chicago DL Henry Melton gets a nice increase up to 87 overall (+2), NY Giants DB Stevie Brown gets a 4 point boost to 77 overall, and Jacksonville WR Cecil Shorts going up 2 points as well to a 74 overall.

Some of the biggest movers on the negative side are Kansas City OL Jeff Allen (from 70 to 68 overall), Carolina OL Amini Silatolu (from 73 to 70 overall), Chicago WR Devin Hester (from 78 to 76 overall), and Washington CB DeAngelo Hall (from 84 to 82 overall).

this is a joke...Ahmad Brooks has a great game, and Moore decreases him?

Dashon Goldson has a great game and a HUGE CLEAN HIT that everyone saw on national television...and he is having a great season, but week after week, they leave him alone at an 86 overall....when he was a ProBowl Starter last season, but there are still many Free Safeties ahead of him rating wise. smh.

i dont get why donny didnt move mohamed massaquoi off the depth chart hes been out injuried with hamstring for awhile now and its been little and gordon the #1 and #2 wr's. but yet haden got moved off depth chart when he got suspended for 4 games. glad see T-Rich got bumped again.

Crazy that Tebow is rated a 75 OVR at QB. Sanchez is bad, and he's now 76. As bad as Sanchez is right now, Tebow is still far worse. How he can be a 75 I have no idea. Also, bit of a knee jerk reaction to Clyde Gates too.. He goes from a 66 to a 68 because he caught a bunch of passes at the end of a blowout in garbage time against vanilla prevent defenses?

Chris Clemons for Miami is another guy, 76-80 in one week? Im a phins fan, and he's played fairly well this year, but that jump based on last weeks game seems a bit too big.

I like weekly roster updates, no doubt about it, but I think they need to stop adjusting these ratings so frequently as reactions to the previous weeks game. Especially for bottom of the roster guys.

Have they added Brandon Spikes new facemask in the game yet bc that thing looks SICK? Also how is he rated only a 85 when hes made it look easy, to stop CJ2K, Stephen Jackson, Fred Jackson, Beast Mode Lynch, Mcgahee, Ray Rice etc. Also surprised Cunningham and Love hast seen significant increases. NE has one of the very best front 7s in REAL LIFE, so why doesn't there ratings show it ?

I wish they would just do it every 4 weeks, but keep up with depth chart changes regularly, heck we could do it ourselves.

Tbow's rating comes from his physical stature and running ability. Sanchez being a 76 and Tebow being a 75 come from a different set of skilsl, stop looking at overall rating and look at areas where a person excels at to get an understanding of how you should use a player.

Doug Martin and Lesean McCoy should be faster..

McCoy is one of the fastest in football.. Should be a click under
Chris Johnson..

With Martins huge day, I wonder how much he goes up?
