should the lakers fire mike brown? I say yes the more i hear and see the more i think mike brown is a terable coach and the more i think mike brown is a lot of the lakers proble. He changes the rotaion to much he dosnt know how to use guys he is not playing jamison enough also brown plays the starters to many minutes last year he whould play black and fisher or latter affter the trade that got sessions he would play sessions and blak at the same time witch is stupid yes i know that denver plays tei lawson and andrew miller together sometimes but that different becuase both of them are good and it works blak sucks so it dosnt work to play too point gurades at the same time. When you hear what he says affter games it semes like he dosnt now what he is doing and dosnt now how to make adjustmest. I thought he should have been fired last year the lakers have alrease been kind of inconsecte even tho they are alrease good but it semes like they have bad loses way more offten with him then when they had phile. First game this year they lost to dallas without dirk and without chris chamen without those guys dallas sucks and lakers should have blowen them out. Then they lose agesnt portland who proble wont even make the playoffs this year. Also what makes me mad is the lakers should have singed rick aleman last year he has alrease been a great underated coach i would say he is proble the most underated coach in sports history.

ok i now i suck at spelling just answer the question should mike brown be fired? I think he should and i am not going on just 2 games i thought he should have never been hierd to beging with and i thought he did a bad job last year and should have not even mad it passed last year i have seen enough of this terable terable coach

I am not saying the clipers are better then the lakers and that the lakers should move out of town lol. I just dont understand why people are deffending mike brown and i dont mean just on 2 games this year but even last year am i the only one that fells like mike brown is a bad bad coach and that the lakers would be better off with someone else coaching them i dont think the lakers players have much respect for mike brown ether.

but to answer the question. no i think mike brown is what he is a great defensive coach. and he just happens to also be the head coach. and defense wins championships so im good with that.

eddie jordan, kobe, nash, and gasol are the offensive assistant coaches.

you gotta be honest about it. mike brown did his job last yr against OKC in the playoffs. he devised a brilliant plan.

kobe, gasol, and bynum didnt get it done offensively. and thats the players fault because kobe was the OC last yr.

mike brown told kobe ill handle the defense the offense is your baby. mike did his job kobe didnt. so im good with mike brown unless the defense collapses.

and now that they are learning a "variation" of the princeton offense, which basically is 1 level below the triangle offense in so far as that there are no set plays to run. just 100% mental understanding of what you should do in relationship to where the ball is on the floor and playing off your teammates. to me the offense isnt mike browns baby again.

he has basically given them a structure or framework within which to play with and completely set them free to play the most sophisticated pick-up style offense in the nba.

he's given steve nash the green light to run PnR when ever he sees fit, he's just not using that freedom yet because theyre tryin to all get all the players on the same page about all the rules of the princeston offense framework. its like being in the matrix... some rules must be followed , some can be completely broken, while others can be simply bent.

again he has basically given them a coloring book and a box of crayons offensively and told them to create the picture in as many creative ways as their basketball IQs will allow.

thats the genius of it, because now he doesnt even have to hardly coach offense anymore. if you listen to the players they say they spend 80% of practice time working on defense.

he couldnt bring back the triangle offense so he got them the next best thing the princeston offense. no offensive sets just 100% basketball IQ w/ infrastructure.

now that defense and figuring out how to hide steve nash, that totally is on Mike Brown.

If they get half way through the season and are still playing bad Firing Brown wouldn't be a bad Idea but it is way to early to even have this discussion. ITS 2 GAMES

people say that mike brown is a great at defences but i dont know about that ether the first half of last year there numbers where good but the second half of the season there defences was a lot wrose they gave up a lot more points a game the scound half and there fg% agesnt was a lot worse the second have to so again inconseste and offisevly he is terable they scored the fewest points in there franchise in like 40 years our something at like 96 a game. Also last year in the playoffs i belive they lost a game because mike brown played blak to much in the 4 quater instead of sessions that was something elses brown did with his rotations last year he hardly played sessions in the 4 quarters and instead played blak in the 4 quarters why whould you do that?

lol, why are people getting worried about the Lakers starting 0-2.....

The 1991 Bulls started off 1-2! That was a team that had Jordan and Pippen and Jackson as coach.

I wonder what happened to that team that started off the season 1-2(1 of those losses came at the hands of a team that finished below .400 that season).....maybe a win% above .800 and winning the NBA title for the first, of 3 straight championships.


So people need to stop complaining about an 0-2 start.

Yes please fire him after 2 games.Thats the best option then we already don't know 1 offense training camp is over so we will have another coach come in and teach a brand new offense.Or we fire Mike Brown and let Eddie Jordan be our head coach YES! YES! YES! thats the answer-_-
