The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Re: Next NBA 2K13 Roster Update Arrives Saturday Morning
I'm going to be sorely disappointed if all players that have played in an NBA game this season aren't included, but I have a STRONG feeling this "update" will just be injuring Rose and Bynum or something.

Are you really saying that this early? Besides, most of the issues stem from the coach, chemistry, and (Princeton) offense. Not the team or players itself.
Give it some time, then acclaim that. Otherwise that's blatantly and imprudently jumping the gun.
Re: Next NBA 2K13 Roster Update Arrives Saturday Morning
On a more serious note. While I am somewhat annoyed/mytified that the rosters are never as accurate as they advertise (Jamaal Tinsley last year just never seemed to make it), I am more annoyed that they never provide an explanation.
For example, I know that for MLB2K they cannot add a player unless he plays a game and is admitted into the players union. While I know that for players to be added they must be signed to guarenteed contracts (no 10-day players), I think consumers would be more understanding if 2K (Ronnie, the Insider, or whoever) would explain how players are added and how long it takes. Nothing too in-depth required, but at least a response to the hordes of threads discussing this. Right now it appears more as if they are ignoring them by not responding (Ronnie says they monitor the boards).
If this has already been done, could someone please forward me the link or post the reasons; without flamming 2K please.

Also, Lakers new attire. Dwight new arm sleeves (home & away). I already duplicated this myself so I know it's possible. Kobe right arm sleeve (gold - home; purple - away). And so forth.
If not accurate outfits/accessories, then at least accurate rosters.
Re: Next NBA 2K13 Roster Update Arrives Saturday Morning
I care more about just having the actual players on the roster then accessory edits. I can do that myself. Just give us the players at the very least...and I know the very least is exactly what 2k will do when it comes to rosters

I hope Dwight Howard goes back down to what we all (other than Laker fans) said he was in the first place; a 90ish overall player. They made him out to be the second best player in the league
Also, can you guys raise Valencious (or whatever it is lol), Kyle Lowry, and Derozan? Toronto gets disrepected every year

93 is not the best player in the league. 98 is, which is Lebron. He is the best center in the league by virtue and by stats. He is still in a recovering stage so what we're seeing isn't 100% let alone 110%. It's, as he's said and what analysts have said, a seemingly 75-ish percent.
So that would be a premature judgement. Although 91-92 would be more suited for him. And about 84-85 Steve Nash (right now based on what we've seen). Pau Gasol is still doing fine. So he should stay the same since he's averaging around 10 rebounds. And finally, Kobe should be a 94 since he's been playing formidably well these past games.
