I dunno if they could update a voice track for someone's name. For two years now, Harlan, Kerr, Kellogg, and Burke have been calling Jonas "Valan-see-you-nis" when it's pronounced "Valan-choo-nas", thought they would have it right after the first at least... shows how much 2k actually knows about the players they simulate, especially when he's given a 59 rating.

They do the most bizzare and random updates. They updated Aldridge and Lillard and called it a day? Why stop there?

Can Melo get a upgrade?? I thought 2k upgraded and downgraded players by weekly performances? They're already slipping two weeks into the season

A boost for what?? They have only played four games. Aside from that his shooting percentages have only gone up one point. No need for a boost for a four game period where his shooting from the field and three have only improved one point from last year. The reason his scoring is up is because he is taking more shots and shooting more free throws. If anything that is a tendency change not a rating change. I am not in front of my game but I am willing to bet Melo's shot tendency is already close to the max as it is. So there is no need for a change for him at this point.

I made an operation sports account just so I can say how far nba 2k has fallin it's so damn sad to see a game that had so many bright sports compare to that rip off game they put out last year just seem to be another waste an only do to them not updating it nba live had the best update system in any sports game(at least basketball wise)ever now it was a below avg game but at least they had the right idea as far as the updating system an here 2k is king of the hill an just could care less about the public I know Ronnie 2k not goin to read this an there is really no 2k insider(he's a made up ghost)I know I'm goin on an on an on but to wait a whole for the only 2 true hardcore sports game an they both are bad is just really really starting to be a bit too much another year of playin call of duty an tryin to make myself(a 30 yr old man)believe that the devil not real

I'm thinking we'll get another roster update on the 18th to coincide with the release of the Wii version of the game...hopefully the rosters will (finally) be fully accurate.

I agree. I don't believe there is a 2k insider. I think he/she's just a scapegoat for people to hate on when they realize how much the updates suck.

Don't get your hopes up lol...look how long it took them to get the roster update halfway accurate last year, just about almost towards the end of the regular season. Sometimes I ask myself is it really that complicated for 2K to get the roster update right?! or is it just something that's not really a high priority on their list.
