2k13 Playbook Notes and Blogs coming today (Rough draft)

I will be releasing all notes I have for all teams today in different blogs. Consider this my unfinished rough draft. All these plays are suggestions for each team. All broken plays removed. They also have a list of plays to keep from a teams original playbooks. I will not have the final draft playbooks done until around christmas time. At least for now this can give you all the freedom to create your own playbooks for classic teams as well as current teams while having all the broken plays removed. Again, I will be inputting this all into blogs today. I will be releasing Classic teams next...

The next step is very time consuming in narrowing it down each teams plays within play types and best for personnel for that team as well as scout games and synergy to get these more accurate. I just have not had the time to do that. Last year I didnt even play the game but this year I am trying to enjoy the game and am in a extremely fun and competitive online association that is taking up some time:-) I hope you all understand...

I did have a question. What is the signifigance of the line in the middle of the teams plays? For example for Charlotte you have:

Does that line mean something?

I have all my plays from the bottom up to that line entered in my roster for testing. That line was the 50 play cut off so as I go through each team and plays and eliminate from that 50, then I can re enter the plays from above that line and do the same process all over again. Short answer: Its a reference point for me for the final draft. :-)

I want to make a quick note so everyone does not get confused here. I will use the Pacers as an example. I have us keeping just 2 plays and replacing 48 within the Pacers playbook. This does NOT mean the Pacers have 48 Broken plays. They just didnt have any worth keeping as I can get better action with better results with different plays from other play books. Now, maybe half of those might be broken, but I just want to be clear that me saying replace 48 of their plays does not necessarily mean they are all broken.

As I stated in one of my blogs I have a star rated system from 1 to 5 and if a play does not fall in between those numbers it is taken out within my play books.

Does playbook get reset once I start an association mode? (like team rotation) If that's the case, is there any work around in PC version?

I'll just echo the earlier comments. It's people like this that need to be involved in the development of these games. How much better would the games be out of the box? 2k makes a tremendous product especially given the fact that the tools are there for us to go in & fix many problems ourselves. The framework is there. What an amazing job this is!!!! I've never seen anything so exhaustive!
