I wouldn't really call Jamal Crawford underrated or a role player for that matter. But I'm gonna go with Jordan Hamilton. Maybe it's just because imma Nuggets fan but dude has been great for me off the bench.

Gotta go with Nick Young. He's a pure scorer that can get hot quick. And his defense is a bit underrated. You can use his length to his advantage & make plays.

Jason Smith on the Hornets is money on pick and pops. I have never missed an open mid range jumper with J-Smith.

Eric Bledsoe is pretty much a faster, smaller, and overall better version of Terrence Williams. I have him on the Rockets. My Lin/Harden/Bledsoe guard rotation is pretty invincible.

Never thought I would hear Bledsoe compared to Terrence Williams, but Bledsoe does have a decent athletic game and defensive skills, but inconsistent offensively at time.

I play a lot of MyTeam, which, if you don't use real money to buy VC, is a mode where role players can really shine.

My personal favorite 5 role players are:

1) John Lucas III - Liked him in 2K12, LOVE him in 2K13. Has good ball handling skills, is a good passer, and, for my money has the absolute WETTEST release from three of any player in the entire game.

2) Jodie Meeks - Similar to the above, will always knockdown his open shots, but can also finish some down low if given enough open space.

3) Nazr Mohammed - One of the best frontcourt roleplayers in the game, plays defense, can rebound, and can even score a little under the right circumstances.

4) Keith Bogans - Great defender, versatile player, can shoot the open three if its available.

5) Evan Fournier - He's an interesting one for me...his skills are downright bad. He's in the high 50s overall. However, in-game he's really good for me, as he does a lot of things pretty well. He defends pretty well, he shoots pretty well, he rebounds pretty well, and is all around a solid roleplayer to have coming off the bench.
