    Recruiting: ATHs who play fullback?

Finishing up the regular-season recruiting for my latest class but I still have an unfulfilled need at fullback.

Has anybody found or signed an ATH whose best position ended up being fullback?

You found plenty of them in "NCAA 12" but I can't tell if that's still a possibility this year.

I find a good number of them, since anyone that plays TE can play a little bit of FB.

I recruited a center in my Indiana OD who was rated as 67 and ended up being a 74 rated FB - so that's always worth looking at, IMO.

That's crazy, I will have to look into centers. I added a 6-8, 255-pound tight end to my board who's a C at all three blocking categories, we'll see if that does the job.

Y'all want tough recruiting? Lol try recruiting with Army strictly following their weight requirements lol. Im going into year three .Skill positions arnt too bad, but i have yet to find an O linemen that fits, I convert blocking TE's to the oline. Also yet to find Fb's yet either so i just convert power backs. I've found about 4 or 5 DE's that fit and no DT's so basically with running a 3-4 I just convert run stuffing linebackers to the line wherever the fit best at. Lol it's actually pretty fun recruiting/ sim dynasty. So far my knights went 6-6 and than 8-5 after winning the auto zone liberty bowl. My first tight end recruit is now starting at Lt as a True sophomore at a whopping 65 Ovr lol wish him luck!

If you look at Army's roster, they have several players that are over the US Army height/weight limits.

Re: Recruiting: ATHs who play fullback?

I found an athlete year 1 with FAU whose best position was TE followed by fullback. He was a 4 star and scouting had dropped him from 72 to 69 but at fullback he was back up to 72 with mid 80s impact block to start. By his senior yeat he was 99 impact block and mid 80s overall and ended up getting drafted. He was big for a fullback at 6'5" and around 260 lbs but he often got double digit impact blocks that year despite me only having him on the field for around 65% of the plays.

Find a guy an ATH with the body type to be a fullback, and the stats you need. Check out my guy:

Forget playing that guy at fullback: he has 91 speed, 88 acc, 80 catching, 86 juke, and 88 trucking! That guy could be an all-american running back his first year on campus!

As for recruiting athletes, I recruit them every year (I've go one coming in with like, 93 throwing power) but I never remember being able to scout blocking abilities in recruits listed as an athlete. I may be wrong though.

Uh, yeah, that guy is a beast and much, much faster than your average fullback. But congrats on that find, I would love to land a fullback like that.

thats a tailback baby. looks like a typical LSU RB.

but to the OP. TE's make great fb's. some gain points when moved. but yes athletes can be good ones also. i like to sort by top 10 if you have not interest by a athlete that can play fb. look for guys with very high squat max. most of these guys are around 6'1" 220 to 230. they always seem to be around the that. these guys often times can play qb also. these ones make great fb's. around 80 speed and can block like crazy. they often cant catch well though. and awarness can be pretty back which effects blocking alot. so i like to redshirt and sit a few years.

Only reason that cat is at FB is because this guy is at tailback

You could play the both at runningback, one's a speed back and one's a power. Perfect one-two punch right there.
