Titus Young intentionally sabotaged the Lions

The Lions deactivated receiver Titus Young on Thanksgiving Day for bad behavior that had led to in-fighting among the coaching staff.

Wouldn't you just cut someone for doing that?

****ing loser. Worthless pick. Easy to see why they made the Broyles pick now.

Also, Young is currently picking up trash around the practice field.

Great idea if you want to blacklist yourself from the NFL all together.

He puts Sr. on his back to show everyone he's a father. What a great example this is to set for his son.

When I first saw the title of the thread, I thought for sure is was going to be Lions fan bitter for him screwing something up against Houston or some irrational nonsense.

But the fact that he actually was trying to sabotage the offense is absolutely ridiculous. This guy should never play another snap in the NFL. You're not that good Titus. Sorry.

Plenty of other guys that would want to be out there giving it their all, whether they are getting passes thrown to them or not.

So he acts like a little brat just because the ball isn't getting thrown his way most of the time? What do you expect when you're not the number 1 receiver on the team?

The team should give him the boot. I wouldn't want anybody that messes up on purpose.

He obviously is an entitled dickhead that didnt give two ****s about his professional career. Doubt we'll ever see him again once the Lions wise up and let him go.

Couldn't the Lions just cut him altogether for those kind of actions?

Anyways, what an A-hole and loser.

Re: Titus Young intentionally sabotaged the Lions

My guess is that the front office would rather try to get something for him before letting him go outright. He was a second round pick, but with this news coming out, I doubt we get anything back for him. With Broyles and Thomas showing some production, and if Burleson heals up right, Young may be the odd receiver out. I thought it was going to be Burleson (he still may see the door) but I think everyone would rather have him running route more so than Titus.

Once you lose the other players on the team backing you, it's way too hard to climb back into good graces. I hope he is gone this off-season... along with a certain other Lion.

He should be immediately released from the team.

If I were them I would look for language that would allow me to go after the money he has been paid thus and try to get back all his bonus money. That is crap and I am a 99.9% pro players guy. This guys should never be signed to a deal again.

Reminds me of Adam Sandler in The Longest Yard. Point Shaving... maybe he was betting money on the other team? It's kind of ridiculous to read that a PROFESSIONAL athlete would do this sort of thing.
