NHL 05?

I heard that there is a huge community of people still playing this game, I don't have a pc, but should I get this game? I used to have it and it was a blast to play... Especially the GM mode.

Ah, that must be it... They never did make a game for that due to the lockout right?

I have heard people say that the AI was ******** for the game... Meaning that you could not do any plays or cycles against them. If I buy this for the ps2 will I have that problem?

Not true, 04 had the best AI in terms of NHL games on PC.

They did make NHL 2005...but it wasn't that good.

Exactly.
I had '04 for the PS2 and I loved that game. Had very good AI and I know people that are still modding it for the PC.
Great AI. 2005? Um, not so much, haha.

I remember NHL 05 was marred by an animation problem with the goalies. It was basically impossible for a goalie to get a save percentage anywhere near .900 because of it.

NHL 04 was the bomb. I still play it.

They did, 2K also made NHL 2K5. I was thinking of the wrong game though.
