VC, VC, VC, and more VC

    Here's a question.

Mainly to anyone who has or is close to doing so.

What's the estimated VC cost -in total- to max out all attributes for a Point Guard or Shooting Guard in MyCAREER? Anyone close yet?

Ah, okay. A lot less than what I was thinking. With the premium 2K put on VC, I was thinking around 175k-200k to max a a player depending on his skill set.

      So I guess you've maxed-out your guy?

it only cost me about 25k to max out my PG (Shooting) Sig Skills not included.

I should have made a pg then haha. Im over 35k with my slashing SG and still not maxed out on most things.

Yeah, I'm talking all attributes maxed. Not sign skills because those are almost useless. I've got almost 150k VC in the bank. I want to start a new MyCAREER guy so I can get drafted by and play my full career with the Pistons as the franchise PG. I was guessing that 200k VC would Max out all my attributes but the guy above says around 110k VC which seems pretty low.

I don't plan on adding signature skills as those just seem like bonus cheese for online dudes. Having all attributes maxed like I did in 2k11 should suffice.

Anyway, my guy should be a 99 overall before he's even played his first game. I just have to keep re-doing the combine until the Pistons draft me.

I feel like I spent at least 250k to max out my slashing SF.

Although that includes all the gear, animations (including dunk packages), and sig skills I wanted as well. I maxed out 6 different sigs and I bought all the equipment boost upgrades, some of the small accessories, and maybe 6 random apparel just for the hell of it.

So yeah, maybe... Well sig skills are expensive. I'd say save 60-70 just for those. 150 seems reasonable for the attributes. Maybe 50 for accessories and animations. What is that.. 260-270 if you want everything right away, imo. Upwards of 300 if you purchase a lot of dunk packages, probably.

Yeah, that's the thing. I don't usually fool with "extras" like dunk packages, animations, accessories, etc. With VC being so hard to come by, I prefer to just max my attributes then leave it there.

No way I'm spending VC on game-arrival-suits, pre-game rituals, arm sleeves, t-shirts, or any other stuff. That should just be included in the damn package. I'll settle for maxed attributes and look at having VC left-over for other stuff as a bonus.

Yeah, 150k VC is a ton considering how little time I have to play the game. I got there using the glitch, so I'm cool with that. No way in hell I was using real paper to buy some virtual coins.

I'm probably, going to make a SG like I did in 2k11. Hopefully, 150k will get me Max on all attributes. I'm not concerned about extras like signature skills; those are cheese for online dudes.

After I Max out my attributes on MyCAREER, I may spent a little on the MyTEAM mode. Not much, just a little.

I'm guessing I'll need about 200k VC to Max so I've got a ways to go.

150k will do WAY more than max your attributes, you'll be able to max out 5 sig skills, clothing, and animations.

No way. I gathered about 80 at one point to spend in one sitting and I couldn't even finished maxing out my guy who I already put a lot of VC into. At least 50 into attributes.

Especially like post moves for non post positions. They add up quickly when you get to higher levels.

So, I went ahead and started a new PG (athletic) to get drafted by Detroit. Took me about three tries but I finally got drafted #9 to my team. We're stacked at guards. Good grief.

Anyway, I started upgrading him and it looks to have taken around 120K VC to max out all attributes. I've got a ton of VC left in the bank so maybe I'll look into signature skills at some point.

So, I guess we can expect to need between 110k-120k VC to get our players to 99 overall. Glad the exploit was available because there was no way I was giving 2K real cash for VC in this game.

I've been having fun on the mini games on the Andoid application. Shoot around gives me 25-50vc consistently but sometimes seems to give me over 100vc. Maybe it counts each bucket or something too. Either way it is nice and gives me something to do while bored on break at work.
