    Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

    Following this morning's trailer reveal, suspicious fans have pointed out a number of similarities between the two titles, not least that the bearded protagonist featured in the 'Pain' trailer looks just like MGS hero Snake -right down to identical scars. The game is supposedly being created by unheard of Swedish studio "Moby Dick", which according to its website was founded by CEO 'Joakim Mogren'. 'Joakim' is, perhaps unsurprisingly, an anagram of 'Kojima'.
    There's a raft of other links on the developing NeoGAF thread, including suggestions that Metal Gear villains Psycho Mantis and Volgin can be spotted in the Phantom Pain reveal.
    Game journalist Alex Rubens even reports on Twitter that a post-VGAs Konami party hosted a VIP section full of "people wearing Phantom Pain/Moby Dick Studios t-shirts" - none of whom were Swedish.
    According to Rubens, Konami declined to comment on the title.

      The guy coming out of the fire near the end looks like Volgin. I also noticed near the end of the trailer, someone behind one of the troopers "floats" upwards.

      Hell of a dream Psycho Mantis/Sorrow :wink:

          Wow this is the only place on the internet that The Phantom Pain hasn't been a hot topic. Anyway, here's a HD version of the trailer that aired on the VGA a couple days ago.

              That looked downright amazing. Hadn't even seen this yet. I'm stoked. Love Kojima and his little trickery.

                  I doubt it would be a launch title, probably will be released one year after the ps4 launch, like mgs2 and mgs4.

                                                  Im on my phone. Does the ending say "V has come too"? And i cant remember but has the soldier who shot the patient in the head always stood like that? I cant remember such an emphasis being put on his stance before pulling the trigger.

                                                      Yes, it does say "V has come too" but the first trailer also said that. As far as the stance, I see no difference between each trailer. It was mentioned somewhere that the audio was the only difference.
