Thoughts on this new shot stick control scheme

I hate how you have press LT while your configure shot with RS and move with LS. Makes it very hard to run and try get off a shot at the same time. I wish they would go back to the original shot stick where you only use RS. Makes for lots of confusion when use the shotstick for dribbling as well. The original scheme was much better for shooting.

You can always change it back to the old style in settings.

I hated it when i first started playing but decided that I would give it more of a chance than playing for a couple minutes and changing it lol. Now its second nature to me to press LT. It helps give you more control over the dribble moves as well. Now I'm glad they made the change.

OPTIONS! I love that they gave us the option to switch back but to be honest I couldn't go back to the old control scheme!

I didn't like it at first either. But over time I just got use to it. I really hate going over to someone house and changing the controller settings. It's really annoying going back and forth between controls. I've always hated pause menus. Someone of my stupid friends still don't use them. For basic things like subs and defensive pressure. They rather going all the way into the menu and stop the game. Probably the most annoying thing playing a human.

But I finally got the controllers down over thankgiving weekend. It really has expanded my game.

The older one was good and this new one is too. Takes some time to get used to though but then it's fine.

I love the new control scheme. Just like everyone else it takes some getting use to, but when you do it's on and poppin!!! I mastered the "flick-flick" quicker this year and have pulled off some nasty shots/shot fakes.

Ill probably buy it now as I have only played the demo and didn't know you could go back to the old scheme.

i kept the new scheme but started using the buttons to shoot, with all the tutorials saying to use X and with them saying this year was only the beginning of changing the RS controls i feel as if shooting with the RS will be gone completely next year

I couldn't see them doing that at all. They are going the total opposite way and trying to find more things to use it with. They aren't taking it away.

I never used the joystick to shoot much anyway so I like the new controls
