FIU cruises to victory in the inaugural Sun Belt title game, 52-16. Despite a strong rushing attack that racked up 221 yards on the ground, WKU could never get their passing game going, and threw 4 costly INT's. FIU's passing game was on fire, as senior Jake Medlock completed 14/15 passes for 272 yards and 2 TD's. Heisman hopeful Shane Coleman tacked on 127 yards and 2 TD's on the ground. FIU's offense was seemingly unstoppable, and didn't punt the ball a single time.
