North Texas has several more signings

4* DE Casey Austin from Texas 79(+3). He will be expecting to start right away and provide some sort of pash rush that has been lacking against WKU and FIU.

4* QB Charles Jackson from Florida 68(-3). He will have the shot to compete for starting QB job or no worse than backup qb.

NT was sad to hear 4* OT 79(+6) M. Whitehead decides to leaves his homestate of Texas to sign with SJSU.

North Texas is also close on several more recruits.

North Texas finally signed 4* RB Kevin Bowser 73(+1). He is expected to compete right away for playing time.

North Texas has been climbing up the charts the past few weeks. I won't get to #1, but if I get the remaining guys I could make the top 5.

As long as you can get a good QB, that offense should be firing on all cylinders with those recruits. O-line is something I badly need to address this season as I lost 3 starters, and will be losing 3 more next year.

I lost 4 starting Offensive lineman, I had to do some position changes to get things decent.
I lost starting qb and 2 potential recruits till the very end to Troy and USC. If Tyrone Mitchell starts for Troy this year... North Texas coaches could be bringing extra pressure. North Texas will be taking steps back at qb. I could see a lot of rushing attempts if Hancock or Jackson don't play well. Also look for Defense improvements this year, DE Case Austin should be a 4 year starter and bunch a new faces at CB position to take on the popular 4 and 5 WR looks.
