In my Bucks association I want to keep and build around Jennings, Ellis, and Ilyasova creating my own big 3. I will develop them and try to put the best pieces around them to win. I will sign Ellis ASAP and after the season I will re-sign Jennings matching any offer he is given.

I like the Jennings and Ellis against the world plot so I don't want to add any more big names or stars, rather good role players who give me some versatility.

    Trades:
--Milwaukee gives D. Gooden and my 2014 1st to Pheonix for J. Dudley and their 2014 2nd round pick.
*I had to get rid D. Gooden and his contract. Dudley becomes my 6th man giving me a good shooter to come in for L. Mbah a Moute who has no shot.*

    -- Milwaukee gives S. Dalembert(74) and B. Udrih(68) to Cleveland for A. Varejao(73) and D. Gibson(60).
*Dalembert is a 74 overall and Varejao is a 73, both are similar players but I like Varejeo better, he is more of a banger down low and is very scrappy. Gibson gives us a good pure scorer off the bench.*

    Roster:
    PG- B. Jennings 80 (16.8ppg/4reb/8.6ast)
    SG- M. Ellis 86 (23.5ppg/4reb/7.6ast)
    SF- L. Mbah a Moute 68 (4ppg/7.4reb/1blk)
    PF- E Ilyasova 75 (16ppg/5reb)
    C- A. Varejao 73 (10 ppg/10reb/1.6blk)
    6- J. Dudley (SF) 75 (11ppg/4reb/1blk)
    7- E. Udoh (PF) 70 (3ppg/4.7reb)
    8- D. Gibson (PG) 60 (6.4ppg/4ast)
    9- M. Dunleavy (SG-SF) 65 (4ppg)
    10- L. Sanders (PF-C) 65 (1ppg/3reb)
    11- J. Henson (PF) 62 (2.4 ppg/2reb)
    12- T. Harris (SF) 67 (1ppg)
    Res- M. Daniels (SG) 63

Ellis leads the Allstar voting in the East for guards ahead of Wade by only 800 votes, Jennings 7th for the guards in the East. That last win over the Spurs Ellis, Jennings, and Iylasova each had 28 points, this was not intentional I just thought it was cool.
Great looking association man. Looks like you are getting solid production out of Andy V at the center spot. Dudley is having a good year off the bench too. Mbah a Moute is rebounding well too. I may try to work Mbah a Moute back into the rotation a little more in my association. Once I bumped him from the starting lineup, I found that he doesn't play that much. He really is solid at what he does well, but his offense is terrible lol. I am about to start a game against Brooklyn. I'll see if I can work him into my rotation more.

That is awesome about Ellis leading the all-star votes too. Jennings just jumped D Wade in mine too. I am hoping to keep this up so that Jennings can have a good chance at bringing home the MVP award. He has led his team to a 22-4 start, and is leading the league in points, assists, and steals, so I'm thinking he is the favorite so far lol.

Keep us posted, it is looking like a great season is shaping up for you too.

          -- Bucks(7-3) @ Houston(3-7): Next

Played 2 more HUGE games, lost to the 76ers and a big OT win against the Bulls who I was tied with at 6-3 at the top of the Central.

I was able to sign Monta to a 5 year 76.95M deal after the 76ers game, and he put up 37 points and 12 ast against Rose and company. Team chemistry is in the 80s and everyone is happy happy with their player role.

Dudley is a stud coming off the Bench he is Mr.Everything a very well rounded player, having much more success with him than I did with Jackson. Jackson would have to take 12 shots to get 12 points but Dudley only needs half that, and gets to the line a lot.
I have been scouting for a SG every week with my 3 prospect Scouts, I will probably not re-sign Dunleavy so my 1st round pick will be a preferably tall SG to come off the bench behind Monta.

For you I think Jennings should have your MVP wrapped up, I can't imagine him losing with you breaking records and such lol. 22-4 is a great record holy crap....

Since the Q&A topic isn't really helping out I'll ask it here: In an Online Association, what happens if I click on the "unlock all games" button and what actually happens when the league advances (we have it on paused because we got scared :P)?
That's not an insult, THAT is just a fact of life.

              Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread

Last night I played Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in my Celtics Association.

We came into the game up 3 games to 2 and had hopes of closing them out in front of the home crowd, but a determined Miami team wouldn't let that happen.
They opened up the game on and 8-0 run and before I could get settled in they were up 18-6. Midway through the 1st I brought in Jason Terry who scored 8 consecutive points and we were able to get back within four points (26-22) going into the second quarter.

From there Miami couldn't be stopped, they opened up the 2nd quarter on a 14-0 run and never looked back. I spent the majority of the game trying to keep their lead under 20 and sometimes 30 points. The final score was 113-88.

Miami hit 51% of their shot compared to my 42% and also out rebounded us by double digits. That was pretty much the difference in the game.

Lebron was the Player of Game with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist and 2 blocks. Wade had 18 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assist and a block. However, the player that made the biggest impact was Chalmers. He had 21 points (6-7 from the Field, 1-1 for 3PT) and 7 assist.

For Boston all of our starters came out flat and never got it going. Pierce and Rondo were the only starters in double digits and they only had 11 and 10 points. Jason Terry and Courtney Lee were our leading scorers. Terry had 19, Lee had 17, both came off the bench. In fact, my bench out scored my starters 50 to 38.

Now we go back to Miami for Game 7. We're going to shake the lineup up a little bit and give Lee the start over Bradley in the hopes that we can get some more production from our 2. Wish me luck because I have roughly 60-65 hours worth of game play all riding on this one game. If I lose it, I may be depressed for the New Year.

Can I? With Pierce and Garnett getting up there in age and likely to start regressing, I feel like this year is my best chance. Especially, since Denver beat OKC out West. I also feel that whoever wins Game 7 is pretty much playing for the NBA Championship because I think that we can both handle Denver. I could be wrong though...

I'm definitely not one to quit because of losing. In fact, if I didn't lose I would hate playing. I'm currently in a Madden CCM with two of my buddies from work and two of us are currently 13-1 (I'm Green Bay and the other guy is New Orleans) and the third guys is 10-4 with Arizona. I secretly despise that league because we don't lose enough. And yes, we are playing on All Madden.

That's what makes me like NBA 2K so much. I'm playing on All Star and had to battle for the 3rd seed in the East. If I would have lost two more games, I would have fell all the way to 5th. Plus, every game seems much different. Just look at my current series... Miami beats me pretty good in Game 1, in Game 2 I handle them, Game 3 I win in OT, Game 4 they win by one point, Game 5 I handle them again and Game 6 they beat me by 25. Varying results = Awesome.

Also on another note, if I didn't quit last nights game, I'll never quit.
I was looking back at the stats and even though the game was in Boston, they had 36 Free Throws compared to my 10. What's the opposite of home cooking? Because that's what I got last night. I don't really curse too much, but last night, I let an F bomb fly a time or two. I'll admit when I was down 30+ in the 3rd, I was considering simming it to the end, but quitting never crossed my mind.

If I lose in Game 7 my seasons over, but I'll come back for blood in Season 2.

I've been doing this too, just making sure the CPU doesn't do anything too crazy. It's not bothersome at all, mostly just overseeing and slight adjustments. I extended a few contracts and shuffled a few lineups. I make periodic player role changes too, but only where needed. Some guys will still be upset with their playing time or role no matter what. And if the CPU chooses to start Jamison at SF against me after I adjust their rotation with Kobe there and MWP coming off the bench, it's on them.

Note the overalls are too high as I cut off the chemistry thingy. Roles are still up though. Some drama is ensuing as Cole and Chalmers both want to start.

So I JUST started one with the Kings. I was going to simulate first season..til I had an idea. I wanted to compete now and change the culture. So WITHOUT trade finder, I made a move for Eric Gordon. I offered Marcus Thornton, Aaron Brooks, and a 1st round 13.... NO decided to throw Al-Farooq in so I snatched it up. Thornton gives NO some explosive at the SG... Brooks gives them a vet to man the PG.. and the 1st round pick adds value to the trade which is why I assume they took it. I'm moving Tyreke to the pg... since he cant shoot, I want him to be my playmaker while also attacking the rim. Great ball handling skills, passing, speed, length and athleticism. Gordon will be my man scoring the ball. Him and and Cousins need to produce. T-Rob and Aminu just need to be active. Tyreke and Gordon can be a GREAT backcourt BARRING injuries. Now my starting 5 is

                            PG: Tyreke Evans
                            SG: Eric Gordon
                            SF:Al-Farouq Aminu
                            PF:Thomas Robinson
                            C: Demarcus Cousins

My bench is a lil thin. But hopefully I can figure that. Onward to game 1 vs. The Bulls.

So I got this game today and the first thing I did was jump into an association like always. I decided to do a Raptors one to try to rebuild? (well build I should say).

I traded DeMar DeRozan for Ray Allen before the season began. We lost to the Pacers 112-98 in the first game of the season. After that I traded Jose Calderon and Amir Johnson for Tyson Chandler and Ronnie Brewer but we lost the next game after that 96-75.

After those 2 losses I traded Mickael Pietrus for Thabo Sefolosha and a first round draft pick. Won against the T-Wolves 108-105 after a clutch 3-pointer from Kyle Lowry with 18 seconds remaining. Then we upset the Thunder 89-78.

It's onwards and upwards for the 2-2 Toronto Raptors!

I just made the playoffs as a 5 seed with the 76's. Only move I made this season was signing Chris Anderson and releasing the often disappointing Kwame Brown. I almost pulled the trigger on a Bynum deal but instead signed him to a 5/90 deal. He's been injured off and on but when he's been healthy he has dominated (13.9 PPG, 11.6 RPG and 1.9 BPG).
