How do we create a PURE "Point Guard"?

I'm going to start a new MyCAREER and want a PURE Point Guard. Not a PG/SG like I always end up as. Which playstyle do I need to avoid giving me the "PG/SG" role?

My current team (Pistons) Looks like this:

    Me: PG/SG
    B. Knight: PG/SG
    W. Bynum: PG
    R. Stuckey: SG/PG
    K. English: SG

Notice Bynum and English. They never get subbed out of position.

When you're creating your player it should have a spot for primary and secondary position. If possible try leaving the secondary position as "none" . I believe this is the case but I may be wrong.

I'm pretty sure "pass first" is the only playstyle that doesn't give you sg as a secondary position

Well a PURE PG is a pass first play style. Like Ricky Rubio, his play style is pass-first.

Unfortunately, you don't get the option to choose your secondary position in myCareer. For what it's worth, I have a scoring PG and I'm in my 3rd season with the Hornets and I have yet to be subbed in at any position other than PG.

I believe height might play a factor, make him tall for a pg and SG might automatically show up as his secondary position.

Create a Pass-First PG and you should be golden. I mean, what kind of coach would put a Pass-First PG in at shooting guard?

The AI coaching sometimes is not the best; good news is that it improves each year so far.

Re: How do we create a PURE "Point Guard"?

I created a Pass-First point guard (6'3" & 185). He's listed as a PG|PG on his player card. I'm 5 games into my career with the Pistons. Bynum is my main competition at PG. Once we get rid of him, I'll be the starting PG.

Also, there is no option for secondary position when creating a MyCAREER.
