Really bad lag only when I play a certain friend

Two of my friends and I have an online CCM and whenever I play my friend Bill I always suffer really bad lag for the entire game but, he runs perfectly fine. With my players skipping all over the screen it makes it nearly impossible to play the game. I usually have to run nearly the entire game because almost every pass is picked off cuz I can't tell who is really open and, even running is a trick cuz the blockers are skipping around the screen. But, whenever I play my other friend, Jeremy, it's no different than playing the CPU, no lag at all. Jeremy has also suffered bad lag when playing Bill. It almost makes the game unplayable, I have faced Bill the last 3 SB's and it really takes away from the game and makes it unenjoyable. Does anyone know why this is and is there a way to fix it? I don't understand how it is only when I play Bill that I lag but none at all when I play Jeremy. Is one of us the "host"? If so, is there a way to change who hosts the game? Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nobody else has had this issue? I just ended up playing both friends again and, sure enough, my connection when play Jeremy was great and when I played Bill is was horrendous.

I have tried wireless and hard wired, I've opened the ports, I've tried restarting all my hardware right before we've played but, to no prevail. I'm not sure what else to try. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like his Internet is the problem. Possibly insufficient upload bandwidth

I had that problem with a friend of mine. You have to clean your cache on your xbox. You do that by going to settings, system, storage, then highlight your hard drive, hit y and click clear system cache.

I am just about to play him again in the SB, I will try clearing the cache. Thanks for the suggestions, I will let you know if it works.

Also make sure your friend isn't downloading a bunch of media or streaming Netflix or something like that. All those things will cause a slower connection.

Well, unfortunately clearing the cache on the hard drive didn't do the trick. He and I both cleared them on our hard drive and restarted our internet before playing but, I didn't see any improvement. I don't get what it could be, all I know is, it is extremely frustrating and it is taking the fun out of playing head to head against him.
