    Bedwardsroy19's NBA 2K13 Sliders

First of all, sliders are nearly entire based on how users play and I do not think there is a slider set out there that can be used for every player. Just because I am going to post sliders that I develop, please do not think that you can not use the other awesome sliders that I have seen on the forums that people are using for my roster.

I am still in a VERY elementary form of testing, but here was my first ever game testing the sliders and I am pleased with what I am seeing, although there are very glaring issues that I still need to work out in further testing...

    1st ever test

I will post my edits, but please remember these are very very early on and many changes will be made to nearly every slider lol.
    2nd test

Pierce's shot to get to OT (Broken Play)

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1dlXbV30ceU?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Celtics Box Score (End of Regulation)

Grizz Box Score (End of OT, forgot and End of Regulation)

    Additional test

I'm not much for the Hall of Fame difficulty but I'll try these out.

make sure to include the changes, still needs a lot of fixing but it would be nice to see others results as well to take them into account

Another solid game, went to OT. Played Boston (me) vs Memphis:

Pierce's shot to get to OT (Broken Play)

          <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1dlXbV30ceU?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Celtics Box Score (End of Regulation)

Grizz Box Score (End of OT, forgot and End of Regulation)

Obviously I'm disgusted with the amount of shots the CPU took with Rudy Gay. I am trying to decide if it was terrible defense by me or if the slider should be slightly lowered. Will test more!

There was some good and some bad in the box score but I will get to fixing it.

I'm guessing you leave everything in the coach profiles how they are originally in your roster?

Yes, when I edit I like to leave everything at default then start diving into other edits when I think its time to do so.

Eventually I will edit those as well, but right now I am starting out with extremes as far as tendencies then fixing them as I go

                Hi bedwardsroy
                Just one (maybe) irrelevant question.
Is there a way to get the new coaches (i.e. D'Antoni to L.A.) into ur rosters?
I'm talking about the ps3 version.
                Thanks in advance my friend

Not with the roster he used. He'd have to start from scratch with a more updated version of a 2K roster that has dantoni already in and he's stated a few times that he won't start over unless he's paid so long story short the answer to your question is no.

definitely going to use this as a base to try and figure out sliders, i'm more concerned with it looking & feeling like a real game than stats. I feel that if the game plays like a real NBA game then stats should fall into place. so when you're playing does it feel like an NBA game or still like a video game?

When you say it like that it makes me sound bad, I was saying unless I got paid as a jab at the actual 2k insider, sorry!

The difference is there isn't as much dominance in the paint with these sliders. I'm still working on a couple things I don't like. These sliders are an extreme work in progress. I have a lot of changes to make still but I'm optimistic so far. The game plays a little slower with these rosters, too often do I see teams scoring in the 110s on default.

A lot more mid range attempts

Now that you mention it, you're right. I have no idea why, I wish the timeout logic was a little better. I went on a run the other day and they stopped it with a time out but I'm thinking its a game problem

Maybe fatigue rate or the stamina has something to do with it? I'm going to lower stamina for both sides & see
