The file is called 2000-01 full roster V2

Special thanks go to the following OS Members who helped with the project:
qpc123 - who couldn't be as much involved as in the 95-96 roster but still played a huge part filling the rosters
Neil30 - he created a lot of faces for our 95-96 file that were still used for this one.
vanwolfhawk - his research of working plays really helped, playbooks shouldn't have broken plays
barteko - who helped with some sig shots
Crossover1 - He had some sig shots suggestion and also entered some tendencies. Without him you probably would stil lwait for the roster to be released

Here are some things i recommend you to do:
- play season mode
- control all 30 teams (30th is Bobcats)
- replace current 76ers, Hornets,Jazz, Kings, Nuggets, Spurs, Thunder teams with classic ones
- you may want to use the Created Vancouver Grizzlies team insted of the Memphis team
- switch Charlotte Hornets (replaced NO Hornets) to the Eastern Conference, Bobcats to the west
- use the attached rotation-sheet (not correct for bobcats) so simmed stats/results will be more accurate. (Injuredy players like G.Hill or Penny won'T paly and 6th man won't start)

Some of you may not like certain things on this roster which is good. We don't see ourselves as genius when it comes to editing the rosters and a videogame can't be like the real NBA.
But we gave our best to bring the 2000-01 season to you as good as we could. Like the 95-96 file most ratings and tendencies were created with the help of formulas/guides, so
the relation between all players should be good. Anyway you will see different standings and slightly different statistics everytime you start/play an assocciation.
While making some simulation tests i had results that looked very good (standingwhise) and i had some bad ones (Bulls almost made the playoffs once).
But most of the time it should be good.

Edits that will be in V2 (probably mid/end of month). When you alreaddy started a season input the changes yourself. Should be way faster than starting a new man and set all rotations. These edits should create more realistic gameplay 3pt shooting

This is the thread for the project qpc123 (maybe better known under his gamertag birdman1023) and me are working on right now.

I created this thread to ask for your help to get this roster out sooner.
There are two things that would really help.
The first: accessoires.
Please tell me what players wore that special year.
(shoes only when they are in the game, otherwise only tell the brand)

The second: "Playbooks".
We all know how important good playbooks are for this game.
Vannawolfhawk did a great job for current and default retro teams.
I guess some teams from 00-01 ran a similar offense as some teams this year. Or at least they had a similar style of play/similar player types.

If you guys could provide some of those things it really would safe us time.

Replace "HORNS DIVE" and "HORNS CIRCLE POST" post up low plays with "1 GO" and "2 QUICK ISO" isolation plays from current 76ers default playbook.

And I would remove the play initiator from AI since Larry Brown would never let AI orchestrate his offense.

Also, for sig skills I'd rather have closer than acrobat for AI. The finisher skill already increases his chances of finishing inside and acrobat will just make it even easier. AI did hit some big shots that year, especially in the playoffs, so closer would seem more appropriate at least to me. I'd even rather heat retention than acrobat.

I hope ypu have fun so far.

I had two great games with the Sixers vs the Nuggets and Knicks.

Once in a while i will recognize some things that need minor tweaks (shot tendencies for example). I won't release a roster for every edit i make.
So i will post them here so you can do the edits yourself and go on with your season.
This will also be listed in the first post.

I guess on or two player from every team need an update. Simstats are good but some tendencies need a bumb to create 3pt gameplay shooting(won't change simresults, relation between tendencies still the same). Sorry for that.

Very nice work put into this roster. I haven't played a game yet, I been too busy getting the accessories/sig shots just right & of course tweaking tendencies. I think I logged in a good 3 hours last nite just doing that lol.
