Coach's Comments
Another strong victory as we continue to prove the critics wrong. 3-0 is a pretty unbelievable place to be at this point in the season and I think it will really give the guys confidence going into conference play.
The secondary's still locking down our opponent's offenses, Nevin Lawson in particular today played great and got himself two interceptions on the night.
Chuck Jacobs ran his legs off out there today and I was happy to see him get Player of the Game honors. Whether it was for Keeton or Kennedy, Chuck was finding himself in the right spots all night.
Chuckie Keeton's done some great things for us thus far but turnovers have become too much of a problem. If we want to keep winning at this rate we are going to need a leader that will be able to keep a hold of the football. Adam Kennedy came in and effectively won the game with his calm demeanor and accuracy with the football.
I haven't officially made the decision yet but I'm leaning strongly towards Adam Kennedy as the starter versus Colorado State.
Next Week's Match-Up
@ Colorado State 2-1
