NFC Divisional Weekend: Green Bay Packers (3) @ San Francisco 49ers (2)

Might as well, matchup is all set.

Rematch of week 1, when San Fran won 30-22, but that was when Alex Smith was the starter. Seems like the Packers defend the read option well, but we will see.

Packers need to match the physicality of the Niners and if they have the chance, jump on them early.

I'll most likely go back and watch the Week 1 game between the two(although a LOT has changed between the two teams)but two things that come to mind on what the Pack will need to do to win is protect the QB(Shocker, I know)and take advantage of the opportunities when they have the ball on Offense.

Know what else the 49ers had in that first game? A 100% Justin Smith and reliable kicker. Now they don't have either. Even if Smith plays injured I don't think he'll be taking up 2 guys anymore. Ginn has been off a bit recently too. Webb did a nice job running against them so Kap should but defense and special teams are currently not up to par.

Packers by 3 and there will be a 49ers missed FG.
Crosby isn't very good either this season but they also have Rodgers so don't need the FGs as much.

Is it getting hard for you at this point to choose between the Niners and the Patriots?

This will be a great game, no real prediction at this point except to say it should live up to the hype.

In 3 games Rodgers has racked up huge numbers against the 49ers, even in the loss earlier this season.

49ers can't win a shoot out. Their best chance is to keep the ball away, sustain long drives, because the Packers just have too many weapons.

They haven't been able to generate pass pressure since Justin Smith got hurt. That's not a good sign when the other team is getting healthier and guys like Jennings and Matthews are rounding into form.

49ers will need big games from Gore, James and CK running.

For some strange reason i feel the "football gods" wont be on our sides and the Packers win to face Seattle (Atlanta has no damn chance) in the championship game. Hopefully im wrong but dammit when gore is in stop doing runs out of the pistol cause that **** just dont work.

The Packers are running the ball much better now then thry did vs the 49ers in wk 1. Harris is earning his playing time & if he continues to run well on Sat, that will be huge vs this 49ers D

I think it's only right the NFC comes down to Green Bay and Seattle.

I predict Kap will struggle big time in this game. Hopefully Vernon Davis shows up in the playoffs again because he will be needed big time.

Packers and Rodgers are on a mission. They win by two touchdowns

Packers by 14, I think Packers return a INT for a TD
