What would make broken tackles more realistic?

What do you guys think could make the broken tackle animations happen in a more realistic manner?

I'm thinking of something like a pre-animation trigger for footwork. An animation that takes control right before impact, that takes into account a player's strengths (most effective break tackle move) and the move with the best possibility of working based on: weight of the players, momentum, position and timing. Then positions their feet in the most realistic way to make that move, with the infinity engine as the ultimate deciding factor over the outcome of each play. So if you make the right move you get a sweet, instinct-like, beautiful move that is also very fluid. If you make the wrong move you get BLOWN UP (or just tackled) in the most realistic way possible; putting the infinity engine on full display.
