I've been trying to come up with a setup to place 2 'Anchor' schools in each conference and expand of those. I was curious if anyone else had already tried this?

All Equal Strength Conferences
Has anyone come up with a set up to completely balance out all conferences from the start?

Re: All Equal Strength Conferences
When you say all of them, do you actually mean all of them? Or do you mean the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, Big East and ACC?--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

I'd gladly help make it, seeing as I have nothing to do until 6:00pm while I sit at work and do nothing.

Re: All Equal Strength Conferences
I figured just put the worst team in it, or maybe just leave Notre Dame in it.--

Re: All Equal Strength Conferences
It seems like if you did this to the conferences too many of those anchor teams would go undefeated or be in contention for the NC game every year that the BCS would fail more than it already does. Thats why I prefer 4 or 5 big conferences that contain the powerhouse teams so that the truly better teams will beat real competition during the year and make the NC game more interesting.Comment

Re: All Equal Strength Conferences
You have to leave at least 4 teams in a conference and you have to have at least 1 as an Independent. Something interesting a lot of people don't realize is that you can put as many teams as an Independent as you want.Comment

Better then having 1-3 star prestige teams in the NC game though right?Comment

Re: All Equal Strength Conferences
This idea reminds me of when my friend and I did a conference draft. Basically, every conference would take turns picking the best teams available (Alabama, Michigan, and Mizzou ended up in the Sun Belt for example). It basically lead to a world where each conference had one or two teams that dominated all of the other teams, and made it so there were a lot more unbeatens being left out of title games, and things of that nature.Red Wolves | Broncos | Cubs | Grizzlies | Predators | Liverpool FC | Sporting KCComment
