Quick question on drafted players
Say a guy you draft has 0 of 3 potential. Does that just mean he isn't good when you draft him, he develops slower, you can't get the development upgrades or what? I draft guys from colleges I like when it's possible and was just curious.
Thanks!Tags: None -
Re: Quick question on drafted players
They just develop slower and earn less XP than say someone with similar stats but a faster development. You can always buy your player faster development but it costs a lot of XP. In the long run it's worth it if you're willing to sacrifice some points that would go towards standard attributes. -

Re: Quick question on drafted players
Are you asking about their development trait or the production rating? The guy above explained the development trait. But their production ratings is simply how well they did in college. For example a stud from Miami would have a higher production rating than a guy who played at some DIII school. It doesn't affect their attributes at all because when they become a pro, their college stats dont make a difference and that's why you see them back down to 0 or maybe 10 or something for the first rounders. It'll go up as they get experience and pad their stats. It doesn't affect any specific attributes but it'll give you a boost in the player's overall rating.Comment
