In NBA 2K13 Steve Kerr occasionally mentions the lack of interior defense after an easy basket again has fallen due to some lazy D.
I wonder if this is actually not the case pretty much on 90% of all the plays when the opposing team is trying to score inside the paint and you, as a player, have to witness the absolute inability of your computer teammates over and over again! They mostly just get shaken off by the respective offensive player - and I'm not talking about good screens that were set!
The players who get shaken off also aren't slower. They just act as if they've never practiced any defense. If only they were committing fouls in order to prevent these annoying easy baskets, but... No!
I love this game, but the defensive AI hasn't been this bad in many years. It is increasingly frustrating to work my butt off defensively, just to watch a guy walking to the basket laying it in without anyone guarding him. This is just horrifyingly bad!
