NCAA 13 or wait for 14?

I was planning on waiting for 14 but after losing my 12 disc ive been thinking about just getting NCAA 13 for the time being bc ive been itching to play some dynasty mode.

I'd mainly be playing single player offline dynasty.

Is the single player dynasty worth it you think? I know the recruiting is somewhat different than it was in 12.

I saw where at the end of the season it shows players graduating and leaving early draft stock, Say i have 2 JRs coming out early and one is projected to be a 1st rounder, And the other is a projected 4th rounder, Is it easier to sway the 4th rounder to come back than it is the 1st rounder? "Or does it really not make a difference?


Are there any other small things any dynasty mode that is new?

If you have been playing 12, just get another 12 disc.... It ought to very cheap to hold you over till 14 comes out.

Wait. I think 13 is playable but the DB glitch is the most frustrating thing ever in a video game. First time I played my Washington State dynasty (before I knew of the glitch) and air raid offense Marquess Wilson had over 500 yards receiving on 4 verticals. I play around it but its frustrating.

It's been a known fact that 4-Verticals has been over powered for years, so it's not just NCAA 13 that you can do it on. Hell, you can do it in Madden.

You can go back to John Madden Football 1988 and it's there.. okay, it's not that far back.. but you get what I'm saying.

That's why you'll see people call others out for being cheesers for running 4-Vert all day.

I for one thought NCAA 13 was leaps and bounds better than NCAA 12, especially if you are on the xbox as there are some pretty amazing rosters out there.

I'd just wait until '14. It *should* have the infinite engine in it, which I would assume would make it better than '13. But EA has disappointed me before, so who knows.

Grab another '12 disc if you really want to play NCAA that badly.

If you like 12 then buy a used copy of 12 to get by until July. If you want to give 13 a try then decide if you'll get $30 of value from it during the next six months. If you're not too worried about the changes in 13 then just go with 12.

Leaps and bounds? Seriously? I would never say such a thing when something as important as the coaching carousel is still a huge mess and was never even touched.

When they brought the coaching carousel to NCAA, even the devs had stated tat it would be an important addition to the game. When it was brought in in 12, people loved the idea and even praised EA for one of the best ideas the game had been introduced in years. It was actually new, not taken out and reintroduced like many other things they do try to pull off. And even though last year the coaching carousel had issues, people were pretty accepting of the small issues because it seemed they were trying to improve dynasty. But, even after the year of people having issues from being a NC winning coaching only to have offers from OC jobs to every time a coach gets a new contract, their security meter goes back to 50% even if that coach has an awsome record. That didn't happen in old games. And all haumiller had to say in his own words were , "We just twiked it."

Many have commented that '11 was the best on these forums. I wouldn't know as I went from '10 to '12. But that might be an affordable bridge to July?

'11 was a good game, responded well to rating edits. Just missing Roster edits in dynasty, Custom PBs, and the CPU would severely over-recruit some positions.
I'm good w/ '13 for quite a while, thanks to Xan's editor.
