Also worthy to note that right analog stick isn't the only thing involved in faceoffs. Left analog stick also controls your body positioning AFTER the puck has been dropped by the ref. Try using the left analog as well as the right when the puck drops. if you go forward towards the opponent with the L, your centre pushes the guy back, whereas if your L analog applied back, then your body usually turns back to the opponent thus tying him up
