If there's gonna be a trade for the 1st Pick, It usually happens before the draft. I usually use The trade Options during draft when someone before me takes the player I wanted to Pick or I see a Certain Player I wanted hasn't been picked and I think I can get a deal. If you wanted whoever was chosen first you can always trade for him After the pick too
