Who decided to create this draft interface? I can't pause the game until the 1st pick is in progress after hearing a boring unskippable speech by Mr. Stern. By the time I can finally get to the pause menu, the 1st pick is already in progress and I can't trade up for it. What a stupid idea!!

If there's gonna be a trade for the 1st Pick, It usually happens before the draft. I usually use The trade Options during draft when someone before me takes the player I wanted to Pick or I see a Certain Player I wanted hasn't been picked and I think I can get a deal. If you wanted whoever was chosen first you can always trade for him After the pick tooCeltics, Nets

After the Lottery has been drawn and the picks are assigned, you just press B (on Xbox) to get to the menu, go to Rosters and Trade and you can trade with any team for their numbered pick.
Just do that before proceeding to the Draft. Easy.Comment

I always handle off-season trades between the lottery and the draft. A lot of teams are under the salary cap so it's easy to get rid of overpaid players for specific draft picks.Comment
