In my second year with the "men in red", Chicago Fire. Made some decent transfers in year one which helped us get over the top just sneaking out of the MLS Cup final with a 1-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC. Striker Dominic Oduro netted the game winner in the 79th minute. Just returned a few youngsters that were on loan and now am a little bit suspect on the mix for the upcoming season. Declined all international offers so far as well as an offer from Athletico Mineiro. Thinking about this starting XI for the upcoming season:

Finally made it to the 1st transfer period in my FC Dallas cm I started when I first got the game. Recently started using sliders on here and got my *** kicked at first on Legendary, losing like 5 straight without scoring a goal. Bumped it down to world class for the time being and am at least competitive now, and have actually won 3 or so in a row.

Only had like $1.5 million to work with, so I decided to go more towards cheaper players to add depth. Added a CDM from Saudi Arabia rated around 67 or so, as well as a couple younger players I'm looking as more of an investment and plan on selling in a year or two for a nice profit. Also added Abwo, who has all 90s in the speed attributes since my team really lacks pace. Only problem with that is I now have 5 LM/RM. The two LM are Shea and Leyva who both have good potential.

I have around $600,000 left and I'm probably going to go after either a LB or a GK. My goalie is Hartman who is rated a 66, worth $0, and is in his mid 30s I think. Any suggestions on a decent GK that fits my budget? I'm also debating on selling Ferreira. He's my top goal scorer, and best player, but at the same time he's in his 30s. He's still worth like $3.6 million, so I could replace him with a slightly less talented young player with potential pretty easily.

Don't let Brek Shea go. He is a stud that you should build around.

I'm looking to sell Downing and maybe Sterling in my Liverpool FC. I'm looking at Neymar from Santos, whos only 85, and still with Santos after 3 years. But is he really worth the $56,000,000 that they want? I figure I can pick up about 4 good mid-range players around 70-80 for that price.

I'm looking to beef up my backfield. Any recommendations for backs?

Negotiate with Santos a bit. Once you have him on your team you'll realize why he's so valuable.

He's probably the most fun player to control in the entire game, imo.

Things are starting to come together for my FC Dallas squad. Things started rocky at first in the 2nd season, but now we are 6-2-3 and sitting solidly in 3rd place in our conference. The Sounders haven't lost a game yet (9-3-0), and Real Salt Lake is right above us as well.

Decided to make a couple of big moves in January, including bringing in our new GK in Jack Butland. He's rated a 69 and is only 19 years old, and hopefully will develop into a great player. We got rid of our leading goal scorer and striker Perez for $250,000 over his value, and then brought in youngster Jereon Lumu to replace him. He's only 17 I believe and rated around a 66 at the moment. I also kind of cheated and picked up the 75 ovr free agent ST who is 18 years old. I'll probably transfer him eventually at a steep discount since it's a cheap way to get someone. The last big move we made was bringing in Dennis Appiah (CB) from AC Monaco. He was starting, but his time is going to be limited now that I brought in a CB from my youth academy out of Japan. I forget his name, but he came in at a 69 overall CB at the age of 16. Not bad considering I have a 1*, 1* scout.

I'm about 7 or 8 games out of the July transfer period. Not quite sure what moves I'm going to make, but I do still have like $750,000 to spend. I need to try to load out a few players for sure, and I might try to get rid of my RM Jackson since I have both Castillo and Abwo performing great there. He's worth around $1.3 million so I could get someone decent for him. I'm probably either going to go for depth, bring in a young CAM to eventually replace Ferreira, or save my money and potentially get a better scout.

This just happened in my manager career with Bastia. I was playing Le Mans.

I score at the 24th minute. CPU scores at the 28th minute.

I score at the 64th minute. CPU scores at the 68th minute.

CPU scores at the 90th minute.

Talk about a "God Mode" game. It was insane. I dominated nearly the entire game except for 3 lightning quick possessions by the CPU.

Well my Chicago Fire have began the season with some tight games and currently hold a 3-1-0 record. (2-1, 1-0, 1-1, 1-0)

My latest match (vs Toronto FC) ended in a 1-0 victory as my late substitution paid off and Daniel Paladini scored just minutes after entering the match.

I am hoping to continue this success and have a better run at the U.S. Open Cup than my previous campaign (ousted in the QTR Finals). Transfers seem to have done the squad well, as our depth is far and away better than the prior year.

Last but not least, I have turned down two international managerial offers. Belgium and South Africa. I am concentrating on building the Fire into a premier MLS club. Who knows, if the U.S. team comes calling, I may hae to jump at the opportunity!

I feel your pain. My most recent match vs. NY Red Bulls ended in a 1-0 victory, though I rang it off the post at least 4 times in the match. The Red Bulls side came out firing in the opening 15 minutes and really put my squad on their heels. Luckily my keeper Sean Johnson made some exceptional saves to keep the game level. Finally connected on a beautiful through-ball to Chris Rolfe, drew the keeper out and made a soft touch to Wells Thompson as the keeper made his slide for an easy goal. My Chicago Fire club is now 5-1-0, which is due in large part to the outstanding defense my squad has played to open the season. I only have 8 goals for through 6 matches, 1 goal against. Pretty content with the way my side has come out in this new campaign! Good luck with FC Dallas, and keep the updates coming! I enjoy reading others CM fortunes or hardships.
