If there is, I haven't been able to find it. Funny that you mentioned Morris. I was looking to change out Hightower as well.

I have been trying to update a few quarterbacks too. Bumped both Russell Wilson and Colen Kapernik (sp?) to their respective levels. Then because I haven't figured out how to change the other teams rosters, I put Alex Smith and Flynn's durability down to 1. Hoping the quick injuries would fix the depth charts.

So far the level 1 durabilities haven't brought injuries. I'm open to suggestions on that one...

The only way to change names currently is to make a player editable in game. To do that, you would have to find him in the hex file and change his player code to 05.

He will probably be listed either as player code 84 or player code 04 in the file. So you have to go in and change it to 05 to make him appear in game on the editable players list.

Gotcha. I may fiddle around with the hex file some. Either way, I can't complain...Rate Sports went above and beyond and I am truly appreciative.

Yep, it takes a mammoth effort just to rename this many players alone. I am still not sure what he did to keep the name database from turning to complete Shaq Fu.

The name database is the biggest obstacle I run into trying to edit files in this game.

It actually wouldn't be a problem as long as you know the code for every default name in the roster. Then you can make changes based off of that. Unfortunately it would take some effort to achieve that.

Lol it was a tough loss but they deserved it. We were a little too banged up and didnt even bring our "B" game.

But everything else is great my man! Finishing up my degree in July.

I have a question about transfering the roster file from your XBOX to your computer.

When I put my USB in it won't let me put anything on it until i configure it for use with my 360 so i let it configure. Then I put the APF 2K8 roster file on the USB but when i put the USB in my computer it says the USB is empty.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You have to rehash and resign the roster file to your USB drive using a PC program like Modio.

I can't find in Modio where to do this.
