Bravo Mr. Jarodd, bravo.
I am a long time madden fan and player and I must say I love your sliders! I usually play on all-pro and wanted a challenge, not wanting to go 16-0 every season. I decided to start on your green set. I started a new career, made my own coach and took control of the Oakland Raiders. I simmed the pre-season and took on the San Diego Chargers in Week 1 of the regular season, and boy was it an awesome game.
I found myself down 14-0 in the second quarter which was unfamiliar territory...I couldn't do anything to move the ball on offense, as my running game was being stuffed, Palmer was throwing inaccurately (which I loved), and my receivers were dropping passes (also awesome).
But thanks to a very inspirational pep talk in the locker room, the Raiders came out of the half looking like a totally different team. On our opening drive we scored our first touchdown of the season, as Darren McFadden broke a run to the outside and simply outran the entire defense. We then tied the game thanks to an amazing punt return touchdown by Jacoby Ford. Our defense would not allow another score for the rest of the game, and we would take the lead late in the 4th quarter on a 3 yard run by Mike Goodson. Our defense would deny any hail mary attempts, and Coach Lung and his Raiders would win their season opener. The most fun i've had with this game since I bought it!
