    FC Cup... blah?

So I was looking at the cup system and found the FA Cup interesting. Enjoying playing in it but what is this I hear about it not being so prestigious lately? Did something happen to hurt it's rep?

It doesnt pay out as much as the premier league itself or the champions league...it might not even be on par with the euro league title.

I'm sure Luton Town is finding the cup a worhtwhile experience.

Thbends: it would be like every semi-pro baseball team that exisits in the US today having an opportunity to play the Yankees or Cubs through a one game knockout tournament. EVERY team (if the paperwork is accepted!). I think there were some 800+ clubs that participated this year. I love that non-league teams have had their chances this year. Eventually, if Man City and Man U or Chelsea or whomever reach the final they'll put out their best XI.

FA Cup is still important. The first set of games with Premier League teams is like a Sports National Holiday in England (Kinda like the 1st weekend of March Madness). Also think that the most expensive stadium built was pretty much built for the FA Cup Final.
My teams: Cowboys, Knicks, Braves, Arsenal FC, Nittany Lions
