How to get a QB to Slide on PS3
For the life of me I cannot get my QB's to slide. In the game or in practice. On a scramble or a designed run. I thought it was the square but in practice they only dive with that and in the game I've clicked the square - and I swear I'm not making this up - they try and pitch the ball like they are running an option and have fumbled a few times.

It's the same button as your runner dive and defender tackle.
You need to tap it. If you tap it they slide, if you hold it too long they dive. You also need to tap it in open space. If you're too close to a defender he'll dive (and probably fumble).Favorite Teams:

Try letting go of the left stick completely and then lightly pressing square.Last edited by richmondn96; 01-27-2013, 11:16 AM.

It also seems to me that if you try and slide right at the first down line he'll dive too.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

If you didn't think of that then here's another tip, just in case you don't already know it. In passing, if you tap the receiver's button it'll lob it, keep it held down it'll be a bullet pass, and hold it longer than a tap, but let go before the QB releases the ball it'll be a touch pass.Favorite Teams:
