Rajon Rondo out for season

So Rajon Rondo is out for the season with a torn ACL. Does anyone know if 2k would update the all star content to whoever takes his spot? Big lost for the NBA though. One of the more fun players to use on 2k.

He's one of the most exciting players in the NBA. Truly a sad day in basketball. In the past 12 months three of the most exciting young guards have been lost to the same injuries. Rondo, Rose, and Rubio.

Yea sucks seeing so many young talented PG's get this injury. I think it takes them a step back in athleticism and really the PG is the most important position in my opinion.

Even as a Laker fan its sad to see maybe one of the most taleneted Passing Point Guards in the league go down with an injury CURSE YOU ACL'S

In all seriousness though, that's a crushing blow to the Celtics this season. They were barely clinging on to the 8th seed with Rondo, without him; I really can't see them making the playoffs this year. I'm a big Celtic fan though so I hope they can pull this out and finish strong in the second half of the season.

Wizards will make a 8th seed playoff push and Jennings will get into all star game hopefully.

I feel bad for Rondo but i don't feel bad for their fans they laughed at our star player in D Rose when he was down on the floor screaming in pain well now they see how it feels to have your top star out for over a year.

What Celtic fans laughed at D.Rose?... You probably mean the Heat fans. Your accusation just sounds made up to me... But w.e. I don't wish this on any player or their fan base. Injuries like this are not only bad for their teams but bad for the fans and the league. You still want to see your teams compete against the best and beat the best.

Coming from someone who tore their ACL, it does not take you back a step in terms of athleticism. Actually the artificial ACL is stronger than the ACL everyone is born with. It does take time to fully trust it, but when you do you are better than before. Plus the technology and medical practices are so advanced now that he'll be fine.

haha just playing man. Sad to see Rondo go down, but in a weak Eastern Conference, I can see the Celtics sneaking into the playoffs and making some noise.

Idk man...Rondo was the catalyst of that offense. If you take the points Rondo scored + his assists + his pass to assist = most of the Celtics points. Paul Pierce one on one, and KG's beautiful mid-range jump shot is only going to be effective if they have someone who can get them the ball in effective places.

Doc Rivers is an excellent coach, and by no means do I think the Celtics are going to roll over, but I do believe it's going to be a struggle for them.
