Brewers sign Alex Gonzalez to 1 year deal.

I love this move for our bench!! He will be very valuable in 2013!

I'm only saying this here because it's just an oblique reference but "sigh" two Blue Jays could be involved in this new PED scandal

two? You mean 2 ontop of Melky, or Melky and someone else?

Really hope it's nobody good like a Reyes,Buehrle,Johnson.

MLB will have no problem suspending Jays players, if it means Yankees success. lol, wouldn't be surprised if A-Rod gets "suspended" and somehow despite being injured, those games missed counts as his suspension.

          Melky and someone else probably.

You also seem to have the notion that MLB hates the Blue Jays LOL

Charlie Manuel said Delmon Young will hit 5th!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA He hit behind Cabrera and Fielder who led the league in total bases, and were on base machines, and he was still the worst number 5 hitter by far. If he can't produce behind those two, what does that say about his ability to hit in the middle of the order?

I can't believe this. My oh my.

It's not that they hate the Jays, it's that they love the Yankees. Didn't A-Rod already admit to taking steroids previously in his career, and MLB never did anything about it?

To be fair...it is his strong point. You certainly wouldn't say defense or baserunning are.

I want Jose to be clean...but come on, in this day and age it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the guy is on something.

It's hard for guys to maintain their weight (hell, he might've even lost some) and still be on roids.

He made some pretty big adjustments and they're definitely noticeable. It wouldn't surprise me as much if EE was on roids (but he lost so much weight he looked like Rajai Davis at one point), but still, it seems pretty unlikely.

I'm not entirely sold on his "swing change" and "adjustments". I mean C'mon, look at these 2009-2010 transition stats:

                                2009: G:113 BA:.235 HR:13 RBI:40 SLG:.408 OPS:.757 OPS+:99
                                2010: G:162 BA:.260 HR:54 RBI:124 SLG:.617 OPS.995 OPS+:164

I mean that doesn't make you in the slightest bit suspicious? I know swing can help ALOT. Just look at Ken Griffey Jr., but being a guy whose career high HRs before 2010 was 16 pull 54 out of nowhere? I'm not completely sold. But I could be wrong...
