Do I need to scout if I sim my draft picks?

I suspect I already know the answer to this, but I thought I would check to make sure... If I sim my draft picks there is no need for me to scout in my CCM, right?

If you scout, the CPU will select smarter players for you. Think of it as making the CPU go BPA as opposed to filling a need if you scout.

is that really proven? because I dont buy it

seriously, we cant get teams to franchise their best player, or even draft their biggest need(teams taking qb's first when they have a darn franchise guy signed for 5 years, ETC ETC ETC) and yet we are to believe that off our scouting, it will draft differently?

I know in NFL head coach, it has that, where you scout players, cpu sees it, and takes all your players, so you spend time scouting the ones you dont want who are at least mediocre, and they willt ake those guys over the ones you want, ive never ever seen this in madden.

I imagine it's true. I have never seen a player that I thought was going to have at least fast devlopment go after their projected pick. I have seen some players go a full round before their projection.
