    Franchise Tips

I'm planning on creating a Franchise CCareers for the Redskins on '13. I'm going to try and get Calvin Johnson but who else should I get? The rRedskins run a 3-4 Defense and they need improvement for the D-Line and also O-Line. They also need improving for their backfield defenders. Help would be awesome!

    Thanks

I would get someone other than Megatron. He'll cost an arm and a leg. I would suggest another Tech guy in BayBay (Demaryius) Thomas. Younger, explosive and probably a lot cheaper trade and money wise. D-line is tough... I would personally try to get by with what you have and load up in the draft.

Thanks for the advice! when I quick play with the Skins RG3 is always sacked from the right side. Who should I try to get for the defensive backs?

I wouldn't waste my time/money trying to get Megatron. First, the CPU is going to want a ton of top picks for him, plus a top player I imagine.

Second, there are a ton of good WR's in the draft classes. Start scouting guys with good speed, acceleration, and catching that are at leas a "B" grade. Even if you don't get a top guy with your picks, the UDFA class always has a few gems.

              Re: Franchise Tips

I play with the Redskins every year until the 3rd year in my online CCM when I got fired and then accepted a ob with the Cardinals.

To answer some of your questions, I wouldn't get Megatron. Get a younger, big WR. In my personal experience, Id rather have 5 WRs who are between 69-79 then 2 above 80 and the rest low 70s/60s.

For the Dline, i would stick with Bowen/Cofield/Carriker for the time being. Look towards the draft to possible replace Bowen (his overall is good but he just never got me any production... Cofield and Carriker did though)

For DBs, you're solid on the corners. For the first year, I would throw a draft pick towards Houston to see if they would give you Glover Quin for one of your safety positions and plan on the draft to fill your other safety spot.
