By The way Madden 13 was the best madden in years with the realistic physics system they have.

Even for a video game it wasn't realistic.

I mean guys having their arms and legs twisted around them - that's realistic? Even for video game standards for a game set in a modern real-world setting?

I think honoring 25 years of Madden is a good idea, but l would go with XXV.

The name concerns me, as does the potential of having a legend on the cover. It makes me think that the key features are going to be gimmicky and there won't be enough focus on gameplay and Connected Careers. I hope I'm wrong and I guess time will tell.

I'm sort of surprised to see people here and Twitter upset about the name change. If this change is somehow an indication that Madden is committing to a new identity (perhaps less hybrid and more sim), then I'm all for this.

Probably going out on a limb w/ my thought process, but hopefully this is a suggestion that they are launching on new consoles this year and they're turning the page on the inconsistencies of the 360/PS3 generation.

Honestly this could be a great game if its more than just a beta version they gave us last year in madden 13. Work out the physics and the weird kinks. Give us custom camera angles would be awesome. A new player rating system.Work in pass interference that has never been in a madden game. And don't count on patches every year to fix bugs. May have potential but they seem to let me down every year. Now on to CH2k8 a true great game that stands the test of time.

The name change is actually cool. And I agree with others that it should've been written out as XXV.

However, until they get the basics right, nothing else will matter. This is the only sports game that every year seems to try and "re-invent" itself. There is no foundation from year to year, nothing for them to build upon, as they seemingly take what they had previously, scrap it and start over.

is it coming out on vita or not? why do they just announce PS3/360, can't they be nicer and announce ALL Platforms(ok maybe not ps4/720) but like wii u and vita would have been nice

I could care less if the game was called Roger Goodell's Feel Good Football League 2100. If Madden is trying to re-brand itself (I highly doubt) it needs to do more than a name change to achieve.
