The Saints have re-signed Rafael Bush. Championship!

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

B/c of Vick? Why? You've got nothing better. Nothing better is out there. And maybe you won't have a coach that decides to have him drop back 35+ times a game.

Isn't it only for a year, also?

Don't start worrying yet. I don't even think that Vick will get the starting job this season. Chip does not seem sold on Vick's ability to be successful in his system so I look for him to grab another QB, and if worse comes to worse, he will go with Vick.

Said it in another thread. I think that the reason Kelly initially passed on the Eagles was due to the fact they were going to cut ties with Vick. I don't find it surprising at all that Kelly is in Philly and Vick is being given another chance there. I also wouldn't be shocked if Philly took a late round (5th or later) pick on Klein out of Kansas State.

The Eagles are set to begin rebuilding with a new coaching staff. Vick sucks. And he's old. And he won't be the QB of the future. This makes zero sense. And there are better options out there as well

Ill give you that you probably know more about the Eagles situation than I do, but:

              1. That team does not have the look of a roster ready to rebuild, at all.

              2. Vick is neither old nor does he suck. Older and past his prime? Yes.

              3. What better QB option is out there

                1. True. But they are. All indications point to getting rid of most veterans and trying to rebuild.

                2. For a running QB, he's old. And yes he does stink. He couldn't read a blitz to save his life last year. Foles got sacked way less behind the same O-Line. He can't make decisions well enough anymore.

                3. Better for the Eagles--There are many names. Chase Daniel, Alex Smith are 2 names I liked. Like I said above, going with Vick even for a year would be going backwards IMO.

I'm excited to see if Dennis Dixon can still play. Oh and you don't want Chase Daniel, he is awful. He's one of the best high-fivers and clipboard holders in the league but he isn't a very good quarterback.

I've actually heard good things about him.

Just watch Saints preseason games and see how the offense goes from a well oiled machine to a sputtering piece of **** when he comes in. He even got all of the first-team reps this year with Drew missing mini-camps and he still didn't look that great.

On Dennis Dixon, I think it's telling that he couldn't win a spot on the Steelers' active roster over the likes of Charile Batch and Byron Leftwich. That said, I'm a fan of his and I hope he finds success somewhere in the league, be it with the Eagles or elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm not expecting too much but it would be cool if he can play like he did at Oregon with his old coach.

Chase Daniels, really? You must really hate Vick then. No way I'd be pulling for Chase Daniels. I can see Dixon. No idea why he wasn't snatched from the Ravens practice squad or let go by PIT in the first place but I think he's still worth a look. I personally think Vick makes more sense than Smith because I think Smith is going to cost more and I don't think either are really the QB of the future for you.
