shooting glitch....

sorry guys my question mark button doesnt work but in my career and in assosiacion(sp) ill be trying to take a shot and nothing happens i have to use the left trigger and right stick....anyone else have a problem it will go through stretches then finally start working again...weird and annoying esspecially when im on a fast break and have an easy dunk any help would be awesome

no im on 360...what i dont get is it let me shoot with the x button but then will go through peorids of times without shooting it cost my game when i played the thunder....if its the new control scheme can i change it back to where x lets me shoot whenever...

i know what you're saying. like if you use the X button instead of the LT+shot stick, it works like 90% of the time, but then randomly it will stop working sometimes. it has screwed me when the shot clock is winding down, i go to shoot and nothing happens, 24 second call. i don't know why it does this, i thought maybe my X button was screwed up, but at least it's good to know other people are having the same problem. hope they fix it soon

Just got screwed out of 2100 Vc in salary and my current number 4 seed because of that bull. I'm so mad right now bro I lost by 4 and had COUNTLESS open shots. I almost broke my game out of frustration

hmm...this makes me think it's something really wrong with the shooting button. I see this some times then I have a lot of times i'll pump fake only to shoot the ball.

At first, I believed this problem had to be the users fault. I have never had a problem like this. Only thing I can think of is checking your controller settings or something. Also, at the dashboard try deleting your cache and starting backup. I don't see what else you can do.

I see SO many people say its the user. Well it can't be every users fault who comes on here with the same problem. It is a HUGE problem, and just because it hasn't happened to you or some others yet doesn't mean the people with the problem are stupid and don't know how to work a Xbox controller like some seen to imply. It's so frustrating when it happens. It's easy to say use the shot stick but when you try to master something on the fly in the middle of a heated game, it's a problem

It's NOT the skill level. I play on all star like a ton of people and it NOT "not pressing X at the right time". You can be wide open on the perimeter, hold the ball for 3 seconds and it still wouldn't let you use it. That's what I've seen a bunch of people say is the problem it's not. It is 100% a bug

lol no. the new control scheme still has square as the shooting button as well as the right stick/L2. he is saying that when he presses square to shoot, it doesnt work.
