    Little help with NCAA 11?

Can anyone help out an XBOX 360 newbie?

I bought a used copy of NCAA 11 the other day, hoping to download a good roster set and all available patches. Unfortunately, I now realize EA shut down the servers for the game, and I can download nothing at all.

I don't care about the lack of online play (I have NCAA 13 for that), but would love to have it for offline/dynasty play. Is it still possible to download a roster set and somehow install, without being online? Same for patches, is there a way to get them installed, or am I stuck with the 'out of the box' version of the game?

Thanks for any help, and sorry if I've missed something obvious. I've been wading through the forums looking for the answers, but I'm not getting anywhere.....

Damn that sucks, cmonkee. I'm still playing '11 (29 years into Dynasty) and didn't realize they had taken down the servers. I have a roster set and all the updates but I don't suppose there's anyway of transferring them to you, is there?

I started playing 11 again after trading in 13 and shelving 12. How does the game play after 6 or 7 years into a dynasty? Does the depth chart for CPU teams organize correctly? thanks.

I don't know either, but I noticed they turned off the servers too. I hope my ps3 doesn't croak on me, cause I won't be able to download the patches.

If you have all the patches/updates yes it does. I do remember there being a problem with the depth charts when the game came out. I also remember that the kickers generated in dynasty were horrible until they fixed that issue as well. They were so bad (consistently missing extra points) that it was literally a game breaker.

Gameplay is solid, even this deep in. The biggest complaint would be that dynasty gets a little "top heavy", meaning the biggest programs only distance themselves further from lower tier schools. There are some surprises, though. Ohio bobcats, TCU, Houston are all perennial top 15 programs in year 2039.

I use recruiting restrictions to keep from becoming unbeatable. I like the feeling that I'm constantly building something rather than just stacking my dept charts with 90ovr 3rd stringers.

All in all, a very good dynasty experience if you still have all the updates and a good slider set.

Rosters, I think can be still transferred over the computer using USB drive. Someone did that for me with either NCAA 08 or 10. Been so long ago now, not sure how it is done though.

Yeah I think I could figure out how, if I had access to a roster file. So my current NCAA 11 problem is, where do I find a file?

It might be easier to just stick with NCAA 13, which really isn't a bad game.

I have Ps3 so I can't help you. The person who helped me replied in a thread I posted on here.

I have a roster file for the 360 that I can share. I don't know how to do it, though. You will have to walk me through it step by step. I'm semi computer illiterate when it comes to these things.

Same here, I got 11 to tide me over till 14 (didn't buy 13 and sold 12 a while ago) so does anybody have a roster for PS3 and directions on how to get it downloaded?
