Weird thing just happened
I'm 5 years into a closed legacy and before the start of the season I get a walk on that came in at 78 overall. Weird right? Not only that, he wears number 7. Even weirder that that, he is still a HS Sr and can still be recruited. Has this happened to anyone else?My teams

For those who don't know you can only wear the numbers 0-5 in college, thus number 7 shouldn't be able to be worn.My teams

Re: Weird thing just happened
Hmm.. You learn something new everyday.. interesting.American basketball leagues at all levels traditionally use single and double digits between 0 and 5 (i.e. 0, 00, 1–5, 10–15, 20–25, 30–35, 40–45, and 50–55). The NCAA and most amateur competitions mandate that only these numbers be used. This eases non-verbal communication between referees, who use fingers to denote a player's number, and the official scorer. In college basketball, single-digit players' numbers are officially recorded as having a leading zero. Teams can have either a "0" or "00", but they cannot have both.
Also, just noticed this in choops.Last edited by Brock; 02-22-2013, 10:22 AM.Comment

Yup when it's loud the refs call a foul and just signal to the people keeping numbers and all that who committed the foul by flashing their hand twice with the two digits, so only 0-5 is possible. Was the same way growing up too, think it lasts till NBA really.Comment

But yeah that's really weird, what happened the next year? Did he stay on your team or sign elsewhere? Did you recruit him and try to sign him while he was on your team? hahaComment
